Costa Construction

We had work done in our home 3 years ago and were extremely happy and posted a review here. Gave multiple referrals including the pictures of the home on his main page, as well as to real estate clients.
Since then, tiles throughout the washroom and main floor have become loose, shifting, and grout is falling out. For the past three years we have negotiated, made multiple requests (led to 1 visit with 2 tiles replaced and no grouting!), dates where he promised to arrive and begin fixing and then cancelled last minute, etc.
We now get no response to phone calls, messages and have tiles we can physically lift out/move.
Does not stand by his word/workmanship.
Orlando accepted that it was his staff that did poor work but seems unwilling to rectify.

Costa construction did a great job with our basement. We were expecting guests and wanted to get our basement completed under tight timelines. They not only finished our basement within 1 month as promised but also with quality and at a great price. They were also very accommodating with our design choices. They also came back 3 weeks later to review and fix minor glitches. Overall happy with the services and recommend them to anyone getting their basement done

We have had one of the best experiences with Orlando and Costa Construction. In a time when contractors make you feel like they are doing you a favour by coming and quoting or doing work, Orlando brings back “the customer/any customer is the most important” experience. From the initial phone call and response to the final product; he was always responsive, excited, and collaborative throughout the project. His planning, design consultation and attention to customer satisfaction, with particular attention to detail was above and beyond our expectations. The cleanup crew was also excellent! We were happy to have him become part of our family and would gladly have him as the sole contractor for further renovations on our home. Thank you Costa Construction!!!

This contractor is sloppy and unprofessional. This was a small job to replace tiles in the foyer. He delivered an unsatisfactory product 4 days after the promised date and did not clear the debris afterwards. He took the extra tiles away even though they were paid for. Grout work is shoddy with gaps at the baseboards and under the front door. But most aggregious is lack of timeliness and disrespect for our property.
Also checked the tiles at Tile Depot got duped too! The pictures speak for themselves. We would be out of our minds to let Costa Construction ten foot pole to our basement. No Thank you!
I paid $2,700 to get the job done $60??? go figure!
Tiles should have been Calcutta you gave me Carrara... Customers beware!

With a plain canvas of about 1000 square feet, my wife and I planned a design for the space to include a two piece washroom, a wet bar and some storage.

We made contact with Orlando from friend's referral. From the get go myself and Orlando worked as to team to create a favourable, functional and well thought out design.

Not only was I satisfied with his friendliness and professional work ethics, but I was amazed with the level of creativity and on budget cost. The pics speak for themselves! The choices of materials, finishes and workmanship is amazing. Everyone now enjoys the space and the kids keep asking to sleep in the finished space.
