These guys are professional and reliable. Have done the garden bed as promised and they even advised that our soil is good and no need to more soil, so it saved some money for us. I definitely recommend them.

This huge maple tree in our front yard blocked out most of the sun during the day leaving our grass always looking sparse and sickly. We decided to have the grass removed and plant a shade loving garden with hostas, grasses, and other shade loving plants. We got a quote from Whitby Landscaping and Gardening and they were in our exact price range. We hired them to do the work and I am so happy we did. The crew was extremely professional, hard working and friendly. These guys were exceptional. I had drafted a rough sketch of what I wanted and we worked together to pull the plans together. They did a phenomenal job and my husband and I could not be happier. I was also delighted when they returned to the house a few days later to see if we were happy with the project, which to me, is excellent customer service. I would not hesitate to hire these guys for a future project....I look forward to working with them again!

I lucked out with this company when I contacted them last minute in early July. I was given a tentative quote the same day and had someone visit in person two days later. They came out on a Saturday morning to do the quote and told me they would be able to complete the job the following Tuesday and Wednesday. (3-4 days later). I booked right away and was amazed how well this group worked together. They are friendly, respectful and ensured everything was as I ordered. They did not leave the job site until I inspected it to ensure everything was done to my satisfaction. Thank you so much, gentlemen.

BIG shout out for WHITBY LANDSCAPING.

We bought a house in late fall 2021 and wanted to perk up the backyard, (add greenery etc).. we had the work done this Spring 2022, by WHITBY LANDSCAPING.

The whole job literally only took a few days!....which we were thrilled with because weve heard nightmares about some companies milking the days for longer timeframes, thusly making the project more costly..... this crew worked very hard from the start of each day to the end, barely taking any breaks... so we made sure to supply them with some munchie lunch food (and lots of ice water), to show our appreciation.

From day one, Dave was absolutely WONDERFUL to work with!
We called him on a Thursday for a preliminary phone-consult, and by Saturday he was in our backyard going over the plan.. THEN. by Wednesday, his fabulous crew were on-site and the project began!

Heres the work we had done:

- Dismantled and removed 2 large old rotting garden boxes on the pool deck area

- Filled in the large dirt area on the pool deck, (where the garden boxes were), with patio stones to match the rest of the space.which were BEAUTIFULLY installed by Blain, which gave us another very spacious area for cots etc

- Cleared giant wild grass perennials that were taking over the yard

- Widened path to pool equipment area, and installed lovely flagstone, along with a border of large river stones (thank you Brian et-al)

- Planted at least 25 Cedars total, of varying size, see pics (we had already bought a few, and they supplied the rest.and they planted ALL of them)

Dave, Brian, Blain, Steve, Tyler (ahhh sorry, forgot the other names that came on different days), the whole crew were super open to any slight position changes for the trees etc, they also had some great suggestions and ideas to tweek things as well.

They were a friendly, pleasant, genuine group and were extremely reliable, as they showed up every single day when they said they would.
They cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day.

We are sooooo happy with the result and would absolutely recommend them without hesitation, for the types of work mentioned above.

Excellent service from Whitby Landscaping and Gardening. A neighbour's tree fell into part of our garden in the winter and I was most impressed with the service provided by Whitby Landscaping and Gradening in clearing and seeding and preparing my garden for the summer. Highly recommend this company.

Dave is responsive and is keen for your business. We've used them a couple of years now. We asked for more mulch this year and upon first application, it wasn't to our liking. Dave worked to get the job to our satisfaction and it looks great.

These guys were the only company who responded and came out right away to provide me with a free quote on the same day. Dave is extremely communicative and polite. The whole crew were friendly and worked extremely hard and fast on my backyard. I couldn't be happier with the level of service I received from Whitby Landscaping and Garden! My backyard looks amazing and even my neighbours were impressed with their work ethic and the beauty of my backyard.

What a professional and courteous company! They came on short notice to do a spring cleanup on my property and did a top notch job! I needed to re-sod and level my backyard (about 300 sq. feet), remove an apple tree, and needed to add 1.5 yards of triple mix soil behind my garden retaining wall within the week. This was a small job. Unfortunately, it was really hard to find somebody to do it because they are all booked. These guys came to the rescue! They were able to squeeze me in to their busy schedule and had it done after 2 days of contacting them. Good job guys. I will keep you in mind for my next landscaping project.
