To Do Done Handyman Service

Our experience at 2dodone was beyond brilliant. We had read about the business in an article and thought it was a great story. We had them in to replace a faucet a couple of years ago and while it was a simple job, it was done quickly and efficiently with helpful service. When we decided to renovate both our bathrooms, we had a couple of quotes that were astronomically high, and 2dodone's quote which was phenomenally reasonable for the work.

From first contact through the quoting and project definition stage to the completion of the project, the entire experience was excellent.

The 2dodone team are wonderful to deal with. Professional, skilled, punctual and great people to work with. They showed up exactly when they said they would, kept us updated with what was going on, were super tidy and clean in all aspects of the project, finished ahead of schedule and most importantly, did a superb job. The project lead described his work as his art, and it is obvious to see the pride and skill he and his team put into everything they did.

Our experience with 2dodone was fantastic in every way. What a pleasure it was to deal with the entire team, from Tonya the company founder through to the sub-trades they hired.

We needed a bathroom update and we dreamt of a tranquil getaway we could escape to - To Do Done did not disappoint. Professional, respectful, and amazing workmanship. I would have them back again in a minute to do more!

Our bathroom renovation (full gut reno) experience was excellent. I spent many hours going back and forth with Sean about the work to be done before signing, and he clarified everything top to bottom, including costs and processes. There were several site visits to get everyone on the same page before work got started, which was also reassuring.
Tesfaye was our project lead and he knocked it out of the park. Everything was very well-communicated, from materials choices to timelines, which was admittedly longer than anticipated, but not by much and partly by our choice. Tesfaye was efficient, detail-oriented, and rolled up his sleeves for the many little surprises in our 1895 bathroom. He was also considerate that we were working from home throughout the whole job (not interrupting meetings, warning of loud noises, keeping the area clean). It was a small bathroom, but he and his "sidekick" Issac made a great team team and were a pleasure to be around.
In the end, the bathroom looks fantastic and works perfectly, and it all came in right on budget. I'll be happy to call To Do Done again.

My wife and I used To Do Done to get our rental unit ready for sale. Because we don’t live in Ottawa, we needed a contractor who could do it all. Our realtor recommended them. They were a one stop for the whole make-over of our condo. They removed carpet and installed new flooring throughout, painted all the walls, spruced up the kitchen with new cabinets, backsplash and counter, and gutted the bathroom. The place was transformed in 4 weeks. We spent just over $50K on the job. The original amount we were going to list our condo for was reassessed by our realtor after their work, and we put it up for $100K more, and it sold for over asking before it even hit the market!
The quality of workmanship was excellent, and we also loved the software system they used to keep us informed daily. They posted photos and kept us up to speed on progress. We were able to make decisions from a distance, and didn’t need to be there at all. We only wish we had a few more condos there to spruce up - we’d do that over and over with To Do Done.

A very fine job accomplished by competent friendly folks. Neat and tidy at the end of each day. We are happy customers. The contractor coped very well with the inevitable glitches.

I hired this company to do a few odds and ends jobs around the house that I never got around to. even though it was a fairly minor job, i got a very prompt reply to my request, they sent someone over quickly for a detailed quote and answered any questions I had. Peter performed the work over several days. Professional and friendly service, answered any question I had, explained what was done and always left the place clean. In the end it took less time than the quote and the bill was promptly rectified to reflect this. I would not hesitate to recommend.

We had To Do Done expand our master bedroom - they took down a wall and closet and expanded the room, along with creating new smaller stairs out to the balcony to make the room large enough to fit a king-sized bed. The work was done very professionally, the workers were clean and reliable and a pleasure to have around. I have no hesitation in recommending them, and have done so several times with good results.

Great experience working with To Do Done for commercial on-site handyman services. Management is organized and communication is clear and frequent. Scheduling is reliable, and on the few occasions where a trade could not report for the day, an alternate was assigned. Staff are always friendly and professional. Their team has a wide range of strengths and levels of experience, so be sure to discuss your job beforehand to ensure an appropriate match - for example, to have a more experienced painter or millworker for specific jobs requiring those skills. Overall a very positive experience and will continue to work with To Do Done.
