Same Day Appliance Repair

Tech came giving false name and had no ID card. Told me that I needed a new washing machine pump for $200 and I needed to put a deposit down which I did on my credit card. I then contacted the manager and his quote for the same pump was $300 . He got very irate and told me he did not want my business if was I questioning the differences in prices. I agreed and hung up. I later called and told the so-called manager not to take the entire $200 out of my credit card but to only take $65 for the service call as they were not going to continue with any work what so ever with an attitude like that... To my disgust, I found out that he took the entire amount of $200 out of my card. When I called to ask why, he used horrendous profanity that I cannot use on this review. I see other reviews citing the same language. I cant imagine how this "company" has remained in business???? As the name of the company indicates, the dryer part was to be installed the following day at my acceptance. AS stated above, when I questioned the price of the new pump being doubled by this company, I was rudely told that they did not need my business and that I was not to question their products. Of course, I decided to hire another appliance man as no one in their right mind would deal with a company that talks like that. The company has now sent the price of the new pump to the "collection agency" in the hope of ruining my credit rating. I paid the service call and never received anything more from this horrible company after that. How can they say that they had to order the part from the USA, when they had planned to come the next day to install it. Adrian (?) used terrible racist language to myself and my husband.
