Steve's Jobs

We had a small bar in our downstairs family room that was in need of updating. The question was, "Who would take on a small project like this at a reasonable cost?" We had seen Steve's truck in our neighbourhood and decided to give him a call, and we are very glad we did. Steve did a great job assembling, spray painting, and installing the cabinetry, customizing shelving inside the cabinets to maximize storage, hooking up the new bar sink and faucet, installing a small refrigerator and framing it to look like it was built in. He is very detailed and made sure everything was perfectly square and level (even though out floors are not!). He was very tidy, well organized, and took the time he needed to do a good job. We are very pleased with Steve's work ethic and will definitely hire him again when the need arises. We have already recommended him to a couple of our friends.

We have had Steve to our home a few times now. We always appreciate his attention to detail and the quality of his work. He has completed interior and exterior painting, minor electrical work and also installed new bathroom cabinets (plumbing hook-up was also required). We will definitely be using Steve for other jobs around our house.

No job, too big or too small .......
I had a few small handyman jobs to be done in my apt. Mostly of hanging some prints and a mirror and 6 panels of drapes to be installed. He also put my A/C back in the window.
Steve was super efficient and has a "good eye" for detail.
I thought this was going to be a job, that would easily only take approx 1 1/2 hours, but the installation of the drapes ended up taking up a lot more time. Steve, was patient and more importantly, he wanted to make sure I was happy in the end .... I WAS MORE THAN HAPPY!!
I look forward to working with Steve again and would not hesitate to recommend Steve to all my friends. "Thank you Steve" !!

We are very happy with the excellent service provided to resolve the replacement of several challenging electric outlets. Steve did a great job! He was reliable and meticulously cleaned up after completing the work. We were so impressed with his work that we want him back to complete many other jobs in our home. Highly recommend him!

We had a number of drywall repairs that needed to be done after various things had been done to the house and we were struggling in getting the initial contractors back in to complete/take on the work.

Steve came by, looked at what needed to be done and provided a quote within days. He provided a start time and how long he thought it might take (a couple of days) to get everything done.

Steve provided everything and kept us informed on what was going on every step of the way. The work looks great and we can use our basement again!

100% would have Steve back for anything else we need done!

Aside from the cool little pun of our Apple founder, Steve did do a great Job! My door frame was rotted at the bottom from the wind and rain. I didn't want to replace the whole door frame or the whole door as several other door contractors insisted was necessary. Steve got that section all fixed up nicely and ready for paint. Right next to that, a small portion of the deck was rotted and he was able to replace just that area. Very pleased with his work and professionalism. Would certainly hire him again for other jobs and recommend him as well.

I heard about Steve from a neighbour. I hired him to fix the fan above my stove, which has never worked right. He did a great job and now my fan works! I also got him to remove a wall in my basement. He did a great job and left the area super tidy, removing all the debris. Steve is easy to talk too and discussed each project with me before starting. His prices are fair and I will definitely be using his services again. I highly recommend Steve!

We have now had Steve do many jobs since we were fortunate enough to find him a few months ago. Many of these jobs were languishing because we couldn't summon up the courage to call any of the people we had previously used. These had been less than memorable - in a good way - experiences.

These jobs have included painting, installing a light fixture, measuring for and installing a custom sized door and caulking a large shower stall. Steve also repaired damaged drywall and made the cavity containing the dryer vent hose and washer water pipes "cat proof".

I cannot find enough good things to say about Steve. He is always on time, he listens well and proposes viable and practical solutions to problems. His work is meticulous and he tidies up without fail. He is a very personable individual with whom it is a pleasure to work.

Steve did a great job finishing our laundry Room. It was an old unfinished area and now it's new bright and clean. He was very professional and left the work space tidy at all times.

I hired Steve to install a TV wall mount, and a to take care of a couple of other odd jobs (redo the caulking on a bathtub, install some towel rods, and fix some damaged drywall) while he was here. Over two days, Steve arrived on time, and took great care to keep the work areas clean, and ensure everything was cleaned up before he left. The work was done quickly, and very well. I'm really pleased with his work and would certainly call him back for future jobs. Thanks, Steve!
