BUYER BEWARE. The owner of the company will pretend to know what he is doing and then will destroy your house.
We were adding a 2nd floor to our bungalow and he convinced us that he could handle it, boy we were wrong.
Supposed to be out of the house for 2-3 months, 10 months later we completed the project.
Are there any contractors out there that would rip a roof down before ordering roof trusses? Well this one did, our house sat for just about 2 months without a roof.
All the finishes on the main floor and basement were supposed to remain as is, and we stored all our contents in the basement that were destroyed in a storm which ripped off the crappy tarp he had put up and the whole house got ruined.
There were 4 instances of rain that got into the house and slowly ruined the hardwood floor, then the kitchen, then the basement where all our contents were. The final blow was a terrible storm which ripped down the tarp and flooded the entire house.
Then after we were forced to make an insurance claim (the damage was so extensive) he walks away from the project! That's right he totally screwed up our house, said to us 'It's not my fault' and walks away.
After he left we hired new contractors who had to fix or remove a majority of the other work he was doing on the main floor. The framing that was done for the 2nd floor was all off and needed a lot of altering and fixing to make it right. He ordered windows which were ALL the wrong size for the openings. He ordered the wrong front and side doors. The list goes on and on for the errors he made which was above and beyond the terrible mistake that was made with the roof.
If you hire this company you are in for trouble. Terrible terrible work.
