Synergy Basements

We had our basement finished by Synergy Basements, overall we are pleased with the final result and are happy we chose Synergy. Initially the project was scheduled to be finished within 4 weeks, however it was completed in 5 weeks. So other than the 1 week delay, there were no major issues. We had a couple small hiccups with the electrician, it was mostly a communication issue between our project manager (Rick) and there electrician. We had 18 pot lights included in our contract, but only 16 were installed. We were credited with the pot lights that were not installed, however I would have liked a pot light in my bathroom shower that was forgotten about. Rick has assured me tho that the pot light will be installed and they have plans to be back in here on monday to add that pot light I want, and without an additional charge.

The overall finishings are great, all of the tradespeople that were in and out were very professional and clean. I can't remember the name of the type of drywall we used, but it is completely moisture and mold resistant. Every other company we had in for a quote were charging about 5-8 thousand dollars more for this product. Synergy has a promotion going on right now, you get their premium electrical package for the price of their standard package. Their premium package includes smart lighting control. so all of our lights can be controlled from our phone or tablet, the premium package includes 4 dimmer switches and all lights to be upgraded to LED as well, so that was a nice little extra bonus on the basement.
