The shoddy work by JUAN of Fibonacci Carpentry

The shoddy work by JUAN of Fibonacci Carpentry cost me over $40,000/- of labor & materials wastage.

At first, he looked very energetic and his fake portfolio made be believe he is really a framer.

From main floor foundation, he has cut my joist short and blamed it to his worker. Day by day, I saw how he has been wasting my materials by the exact same way.

"JUAN" cannot even nail properly. All his measurement were wrong that end up with so much material waste while he was working in my project. The entire floor was uneven and none of the walls are leveled. He has increased my floor height 2 inch just because be cannot measure property. Juan pretended that he can read blue print but he is far away from it.

I was tried of pointing his mistake but he kept telling me “do not worry I will fix that” Once the whole house getting mistake after mistake I requested him to fix them. "JUAN" never answered my phone, email, or text since then.

I waited 3 weeks. I had to involve building inspector and he ordered me to remove most of framing work done by JUAN . I had to hire a new team and end up demolishing most of JUAN 's work including the entire roof.

My suggestion will be not to hire Juan for any construction job.

I always work with my clients. In this case I have no records of any "sage" in my customers data base
No contracts, neither any proof of payment
If you identify your self. I would be able to know if you are my client in the first place . Or if this is a mistake . In the mean time your review. Is causing great damage to my hard earn reputation
Thank you...

Brick and Wooden Pillar Reconstruction on Front Porch

I was referred to Juan and his team by a friend. I had to replace a brick and wooden pillar in my front porch. Juan was very responsive and good at explaining each step of the process/breaking down what is driving the cost.

Juan and his team was able to schedule a time to work on the job very quickly and did a great job with a very short timeframe. I would recommend Juan and his team for any carpentry work!

Gorgeous Porch Makeover

Juan and Wilmur did incredible work - the before and after pictures speak for themselves. These gentlemen are beyond lovely people who are personable and go above and beyond to provide exceptional service and product at a very reasonable price!

The complete remodel included replacing one of the brick pillars that was literally crumbling and replacing the rotting wood in the above overhang. The final product is absolutely stunning and everything was completed within the work week. Plus, Wilmur has a great eye for aesthetic and takes so much pride in his work. After putting in the 4"x4" wood posts he decided that it didn't look right and replaced it with larger ones, which ended up making it look perfect. I have since recommended Juan and the rest of his team to a friend and will be using them in the near future for the rest of our house framing/renovation needs. THANK YOU!

Staircase, joist repair, framing, masonry demolition

Started off with enthusiasm and good energy. Juan provided a reasonable quote that guaranteed the work in case it did not pass inspection. This put me at ease and I gave them the job. The staircase was rebuilt 3 times because they did not follow the drawings. In the end Wilmer did a great job on the staircase and it was fine. But I had to pay for materials 3 times over!!!! The framing of walls was ok. The joist repair was not done to specification and in the end did not pass inspection. My structural engineer asked them several times to secure the beams and provide adequate bearings for the joists. They did this in some spots but not all of them. Most were fixed with flimsy wedges. I paid for their work under the agreement that if it does not pass inspection, they will come and fix it properly. I have left messages for Juan, but no answer.... no surprise, but disappointed nevertheless.

Structural Wall Construction & Interior Framing

Juan did an excellent job rebuilding a structural exterior wall and interior framing throughout our century home remodel. He's a pleasure to work with, very reliable and easy to talk to which was essential as our home presented many structural challenges due to its age and condition. Thanks Juan! Framing

Juan was professional, affordable, quick and a pleasure to work with. While renovating our kitchen we discovered that a beam needed to be replaced due to damage. He was able to come in the following day after quoting us and complete the work. He did a great job and left a clean site. We will definitely be calling Juan again if we need anything else done. Thank you for a job well done!!

Second floor addition to my bungalow

Juan framed a second floor addition on my bungalow. He helped me get the right architect. The design was within the provisions of my area, so we did not have to go to C.O.A committee of adjustment. The framing took 10 days for 1,1000 sq ft. The framing was nice and clean. The other people were able t do their job without any problems. The inspections passed with no issues what so ever. I highly recommended Juan and his team. They just take the stress away from the project and make you feel very comfortable!!

First floor addition

Hiring the best professional for you project is a long process. After several attempts with different contractors, we found Fibonacci carpentry

Juan presented us with several options and guided us down the right path to make the decision for our framing. He took the time to evaluate with us several solutions so we could stay within our relatively small budget. Not all solutions worked but I found it very nice to be able to sit with him for 2-3 evenings and look at all the pros and cons of each solution. Juan is very personable and always maintains the professionalism expected when you are ready to spend a lot of your savings. No stones were left unturned and every aspect was done to our specifications and many times above what we were expecting as far as quality. His team was always polite and professional even though we asked many many questions along the way. They always took the time to show us why certain things we done a certain way and that made us feel so good. Thank you Juan!!

Finished my Basement

"After several visits from different carpenters and none satisfying my demands, I contacted Fibonacci Carpentry. I can't say enough good things about Juan and his team. From the first time he came to quote the job and understanding the specific work I wanted for framing my basement, Juan was incredibly helpful, professional and came with the solutions that I need it. The final product is amazing, I love my new space, and I already know who to call for my next project... get ready Juan, the addition is coming within a couple of months…"
