Victor and his crew were absolutely amazing throughout the whole process of our move. He has a very "can do" attitude which is very reassuring during the stress of packing and moving. He responded promptly to our questions and requests, and followed through on everything he agreed to. He is clearly very experienced with both packing and moving, as our items travelled from Alberta to Vancouver Island and arrived undamaged - even after 80 km on a logging road! He placed all of our furniture where we wanted in our new house - even though some of it was very difficult to fit through doorways and up the stairs. Moving from my 2000 sqft2 house into a 900 sqft2 condo on the 4th floor. The move was estimated at $1900 and I was told the movers would start packing at 8am so we could make our elevator lock out window from 2 to 5 pm. Needless to say this was NOT communicated to the movers who showed up around 9:30am and were understandably put out that we now had to rush (and we wouldn't have time to pack and move all my things). Despite this, the the movers were excellent with packing my things and took the time to ensure nothing was damaged. We only ended up having half the time to use the elevator, and they were polite and understanding with the condo tenants who were put out by having to share the elevator after 5 pm.
Long story short, careful and dedicated moving team, be prepared for the estimator to low ball your estimate and make sure their whole team knows your schedule.

The staff was helpful in unprecedented ways - - they re-wrapped items that could have been damaged when moving out - and asked where to put each and every item when moving in. Victor came to my house to do a site visit and provide a quote. Victor sent me a quote for 8-9 hours plus travel time.

The guys arrived on time to do the move. Great crew. The wrapped everything well and didn't appear to damage anything. They were very accommodating when getting our kids beds off the truck so we could get them put together quickly. The guys also stayed very late to make sure everything was moved.

My issue was with the estimate. From when Victor gave us the quote we moved most of our small belongings ourselves and what was left to move was mostly just the furniture. The move took 15 hours, almost double Victor's estimate and therefore because the job is paid by the hour cost double.

He called the next day and apologized and offered a one hour discount and I paid the bill.

Overall good move job, but paying double what you thought you were going to isn't a great way to do business.

The moving crews at both ends worked extremely hard. They were able to accommodate us and pulled off a quick turnaround time with very little incidents.
