Paid for the upgraded driveway sealing. This package per their website and invoice, includes crack filling up to 20 linear ft before sealing. This is a 2 coat sealing, so per the invoice, per their website, 1st day cleaning (not done), crack filling (not done), taping the boundary (done), sealing (done). 2nd day cleaning (had to remind the individual that they did not clean the day before and hence has a lot of missed spaces where sealing was applied - led to them cleaning first this time), crack filling (not done), taping the boundary (done), sealing (done).
At this point I noticed that they don't care about the weather, if it's going to rain or not they will get the job done to make sure money is collected.
After a week I noticed the cracks and gave them a call, they were surprised that I was calling about a warranty claim (this upgraded package comes with 2 year Warrenty on their website and invoice). I asked them about the cracks being missed, they asked for picture proof (100% valid ask), I sent them the pictures, 2 weeks no response, so I called them back and they said "yea I guess the person missed doing the crack filling, we will schedule something soon" 2 weeks no response, so I called again, and they said yes it's tomorrow and after 2 hours I received an appointment confirmation email. Person came did the filler, and 1 hour later the rain washed away the filler. It was forecasted to rain the whole day and next.
This is long story, but what I realized that sealing is a side hustle they do vs their main work. They have a lot of positive reviews, but most seem to be for big jobs. I don't know I was expecting a bit more professionalism seeing such high reviews. I am not going to name the manager nor the person who did the work, but I can and I can upload the video and the invoice of the work. Just hope they do better
Update: the manager spoke to me and have put his best foot forward in rectifying the experience. It is very much appreciated and shows that there is a level of care and effort to right the wrongs. I am changing my review to account for this effort to make things right. Also surprised as very few companies would do this. Thank you
