Tayo Construction Ltd. and Custom Concrete

I highly recommend Tayo Construction. Our condominium corporation was referred to Tayo last summer for extensive sewer line excavation work that needed to be performed from the back of the townhouse complex, through the patios and parking lot out to the mainline. From the initial quotes Hector, Otto and team were fantastic to deal with. They presented three viable options to fit our budgets ranging from the minimum work required for the repair all the way to complete cement patios, sidewalks, fences and parking lot replacement which we eventually proceeded with.

As an architect, the president of the condo board and one of the units that had the construction directly out my front door I can say that all team members were truly professional from Tayo. They were on-time every day, the work was completed on schedule and the property was clean, safe and secure at the end of each work day. The value that our condo was able to get through Tayo went beyond the expectations of even our 5 year reserve fund study. The most impressive aspect of this Tayo project was the fact that 6 months later there was an issue with a fence post and Tayo stood by their warranty and came back to fix it. If the need arises for a large project like this in the future, we will most certainly use Tayo again.

Tayo Construction did a beautiful job on our patio and sidewalk this past fall. Luckily we were able to get it done before the frost. They were super professional, clean and the attention to detail was fabulous! Thanks Tayo!

This is a terrible company. The owner Hector, came by four times to discuss project with his workers and didn't once acknowledge me as the home owner. The sidewalk pour on each side of the house was done in a hurry and late in the day. The guys splattered concrete eight feet away on my fence gate which was taken off and leaning against the back of the house. Concrete was also splattered on my garage siding and the side of my deck which will not come off. It also got the cover of my lawn mower which was five feet away. It splattered on my new fence which was only two weeks old. On one side of the pour the concrete went over the form and spilled into my flower garden and over my brick border on the flower bed. One worker in particular was very condescending in speaking to me. They also broke my lattice around the deck at one point. The concrete guys didn't understand English and the forming guys chalked the sidewalk less than half an inch from the bottom of the basement window, saying this is what we do all the time. A complaint has gone in as they did not clean up after their work. They were supposed to clean the fence and get rid of the extra concrete, now hard concrete in my flower bed, etc. I would NOT recommend this company at all. No care in their work!
