We used NIR on the advice of our realtor and found the technician to be very thorough and informative. By the use of visual, thermal and moisture detection equipment he identified hidden concerns which may have cost from $10,000 to over $20,000. to remedy. While we were prepared to undertake a reasonable amount of necessary upgrading, his inspection was instrumental in avoiding unexpected expensive repairs.
