Poor adhesiveness of motion detectors & Soft sound
I've come across ThinkProtection, because of a Perkopolis deal which was an extra motion detector for a free of charge. Setting up and installation process were very smooth. When I talked with the agent at the beginning, the agent stated that once the motion detectors are attached, it will be very hard to remove, and you will need to use a hairdryer to take off. However, a day after the installation, one of the motion detectors fell off, and caused a false alarm. Local police came upon my request, because I was at work. Later I got charged $ 130. Also, my family felt that the alarm sound is too soft to scare or warn intruders.
We decided to cancel the service, and request to refund as they advertise 30-day money back guarantee, then it was VERY VERY hard to get it through. Instead of cancelling, they kept offering extra adhesive, sound amplifier (extra cost), and private guard system (extra cost) throughout many phone calls. As those are not what I expected, I asked money back. I returned the equipment in person more than two weeks ago. However, I haven't received money back yet.
