Lukas Painting And Renovation

Lukas went way beyond the extra mile to make sure our repairs were done right. It's been incredibly hard to find a good handyman and I am glad Lukas is my now go to guy when it comes to any handy work. He has our complete trust when getting things done right and to look perfect. All that is left for us to do is paint.

It took us a very long time to process the horrific experience that we had with Lukasz

Where to even begin..

Unfortunately, we had an extremely poor, unprofessional and traumatic experience with Lukasz and his team during a renovation project at my mother's apartment. The work included painting, installing a kitchen backsplash, laying kitchen and bathroom floor tiles, installing laminate flooring, and applying popcorn ceiling.

From the very beginning, the workmanship was shoddy and unacceptable.

- The flooring in the hallway started to lift and bubble just two weeks after installation. The walls were not sanded and there are numerous imperfections, with old paint visible in many areas.
- The kitchen and bathroom floor tiles were installed incompetently with thin and runny grout that washes out easily creating even bigger gaps between the tiles.
- The kitchen backsplash was left in a disgusting condition with cracked tiles, cement and grout not cleaned off the tiles, and the caulking cracking and lumpy.

They worked in an empty apartment yet still managed to leave a huge mess with paint splatter all over door handles, kitchen and bathroom hardware which til this day we are scraping off.

Additionally, Lukas and his team displayed absolutely unprofessional behaviour throughout the project. They left all of their garbage on the balcony, including chicken bones and beer cans, for us to dispose of. They also left a vulgar message on the dusty balcony glass.

They wasted a lot of material due to incorrect cuts and incorrect measurements and when we presented him with the deficiencies and provided him an opportunity to rectify the work - Lukasz found them acceptable and refused to fix them.

When we mentioned taking legal action and leaving a bad reviews - Lukasz showed up without notice and yelled, swore, and threatened my mom with destroying her business.

The whole experience was incredibly traumatizing and we will need to redo the entire renovation. We strongly advise others to avoid Lukasz and his team. The workmanship and unprofessional behaviour was absolutely unacceptable.

We regret ever hiring Lucasz for this project and feel completely devastated and defrauded.

Lucas and his team did a great job of plastering over a swirl pattered and cracked old ceiling in my daughters bedroom. Fantastic job, the ceiling looked flat and new. Also paired white over a very dark paint, completely transforming the room. Very accommodating, reasonably priced and great job. Highly recommended.

I would look no further and won't anymore...Lukas was fantastic to not only deal with and made things so easy for me. He provided a quote, stuck to it, got the job done so quickly, cleaned up and it looks amazing! I would honestly look no further if you want a great job done for a reasonable price. A real pleasure to deal with!!!

Lukas and his team were well priced, quick to quote and got the job done in record time over the labour day weekend. They honour their promises and were attentive to detail and did an amazing job of removing a wall between the kitchen and dining room while maintaining the delicate plaster work. They also installed a wall mounted range hood and pot lights. Lots of restorative plaster work was also done perfectly. I would highly recommend Lukas and his team - super nice guys as well.

Lukas arrived on time to provide quote, and stuck to quoted price.
Before expanding work, Lukas provided additional quote, and stuck to that price as well.
Quality work was done, and proper materials used.
Lukas genuinely wants to do the job right, and gets to the root problem so the job stays looking good after they leave.
Lukas also manages the client well, placing customer satisfaction tied with providing excellent workmanship. Both are critically important to Lukas, who continually checks to ensure the customer is happy with the job.
I am now in the process of obtaining quotes from Lukas with the intention of hiring his team for two other projects.

Lukas' team did an excellent job repairing a ceiling that was damaged by water. They also accommodated the installation of a kitchen sink and even accompanied me to purchase the new sink and faucet. They were very easy to deal with and will surely hire them again. The repair and installation are reasonably priced.

Lukas did a terrific job of replastering a bay window area in my living room. Arrived when promised , was neat, and did the job in really fast time.

Would highly recommend and will definitely use him again should the need arise.

65 year old house had ‘spiky’walls that no matter how many times painted it wouldn’t improve,as needed plaster. Lucas knew right away house was before drywall was used in houses- our walls were wire mesh covered with plaster. That’s why they were so bad and uneven and had spiky places that sandpaper would not smooth out. . He plastered over and smoothed out . Lucas arrived on time and was neat and very polite and helpful. I will definitely use his services again .

Our ceiling was ruined by a pipe burst in the upper level. Lucas was fast, easy to work with, and did a great job of repairing the drywall, patching and painting. What else could you ask for?
