Nina is extremely approachable and understands her clients needs. She has a great sense of space and design. She is on top of her work and responds promptly to calls, answers emails, texts with thorough answers and explanations. She has completed our schematic design and drawings but stays in touch with possible changes and has built a continual relationship with our contractor which is very important to us.

Nina is a wonderful architect and designer. Our project evolved significantly over the 18 months that we have worked with Nina, and she has been working with us every step of the way. We engaged her in creating full architectural plans, she helped us prepare for committee of adjustments (and helped us work with neighbours on mutually beneficial solutions), she worked closely with our builder and structural engineer, assisted with redesigning our exterior (including colour selection), and created creative outdoor storage solutions. Nina is absolutely lovely to work with. She is kind, thoughtful and has a calming influence on all those around her (particularly when tensions are running high, which can be often during a large scale renovation!) We couldn’t be happier with the outcome, and know that Nina is a big reason why it so closely aligned to our dreams for our forever home.

Nina designed our main floor renovation including powder room, kitchen and laundry room on the second floor. Our experience working with Nina exceeded our expectations. Nina was professional and friendly and helped create the vision for our home. Nina listened to what we wanted and added her expertise. She was always available to talk with us and made many revisions along the way until we were confident with the final plan. She went above and beyond to help even after her scope of work was complete. We will be recommending Nina to everyone!

We used Nina's design/architectural services to support our 2.5 floor extension onto our late 1920's Leaside home. We retained only the front & side brick walls of the existing structure and everything else was completely rebuilt so this project had a higher than average level of complexity. Nina's did all of our layout, drawings and helped us through a successful C of A minor variance meeting.

Nina's services were instrumental in us attaining a great finished product. Nina listened carefully to our requirements and provided a number of excellent and diverse options for consideration quickly. Furthermore, she was easy to work with and was open to any suggestions/comments which was great. Our project would not have been as successful without her expert advice and experience.

Given this was the first significant house design we had been a part of, we didn't fully appreciate the importance (and impact) of a solid plan and house layout at the preliminary stages of the project. After seeing the finished product, costs associated with this stage in the project are very justified given the significant total investment in projects like this.

Nina was instrumental in the design & implementation of our house in the Oak Ridges Moraine area. There were numerous challenges to deal with in order to get this project going and Nina was truly a great asset for us in order to meet all of the requirements that were necessary. Working with Nina through the design process was a fun and enjoyable experience and really helped us to get the home that we wanted. We were under tight restrictions with the TRCA and Nina took all of this on in stride and helped us get all the approvals we needed in a timely manner. Nina also helped us get all of the approvals we needed with the City of Richmond Hill. Nina was our trusted adviser throughout this project. Nina knew what this house meant to us and she was dedicated and committed to helping us see the vision of our dream home come true. Nina went above and beyond with this project and I have no doubt that she does this on each and every project she is apart of.

Nina was a pleasure to work with. She helped put together the drawings for our main floor renovation, which involved quite a lot of structural work. Her drawings were extremely detailed and very thorough. She worked with our designer to create the space that we had been dreaming of. As first time renovators, she made the process very easy for us by attaining the necessary permits as well as coordinating everything with the structural engineer. We really appreciated her help on our project!

We hired Nina when we purchased a 30-year old home. We wanted a transitional modern living space that suited our young and busy family. Nina was resourceful and showed us many concepts until we found the one that was just right. She eliminated useless space in this traditional build so that we could maximize every corner. Our ask from Nina Fant Architect was to design a contemporary home that fit our style and family. We are so pleased with the outcome because there is no wasted space throughout the home. It's got the modern look we wanted, we have beautiful natural light throughout the home all day and the right amount of space to entertain our family and friends inside and outside.
