The front hallway of our old house had large cracks in the walls and plaster was starting to come down from the very high ceiling over the stairway. Philip was very professional, easy to communicate with, punctual, and left the area as clean as possible each day. He is easy going, accommodating and very kind. The work he did was exemplary, he has very high standards, great attention to detail. It is rare to find that level of craftsmanship these days and we are so happy to have found him. Beautiful job!!

We had water damage to 11’ and 14’ ceilings and walls. There is original 1880 beautiful molding. Philip and his team gave excellent attention to detail in perfecting the two rooms. Philip is clearly a well trained and experienced craftsman-a rare find in the ways of yesteryear and the present. The communication, professional approach and easy manner made the team delightful to trust to do what was needed. We couldn’t be happier.

We covered out popcorn ceilings... almost no sanding required...perfect finish...mint. That takes skill.

Our 100+ year old house has the original lathe and plaster walls and ceilings. The second floor had been used as a separate apartment for many years and we are returning the house to a three bedroom home. We were left with large holes in the wall and multiple cracks in the ceiling and walls in the original lathe and plaster. We had hired Reynolds Plastering to replaster and smooth ceilings in a previous house and he did a fantastic job, so we knew who to call! Philip repaired and did a skim coat of plaster on all the walls and ceilings in the bedrooms and hall. They now look better than new. He is a true craftsman.

What a great job. It’s not usual these days to have a job completed that exceeds expectations but when you use this company, that’s what happens. Our basement had bad water damage and Philip and his crew removed old drywall and studs, replaced new studs, insulation and walls. Also fixed ceilings in three rooms and can repair cracks in a plaster type house.

Philip is talent from old school Europe. We had a plaster ceiling falling down in one upper roof room. I did the removal of the plaster, but kept the lath up, and then put a vapour barrier since it was the upper floor (this was a nasty job). Philip suggested that we drywall board the whole ceiling with new , and then he skim coated it to level up all the old irregularities. He has a great eye and then did a final pearl plaster coat, so smooth and even that there was no sanding involved. True old school tradesperson . I'll hire him back any time!

We did a knob & tube replacement in our 90-year-old house. The electricians left the original plaster walls full of holes, in every room of the house. It looked awful. We talked to drywallers, but they recommended a combination of patching and/or total replacement of the plaster with drywall, which seemed excessive.

Philip took care of it with artistic precision. He patched everything beautifully with plaster and left it looking like new. He smoothed a stucco ceiling and carefully protected the original wood trim. He was professional and responsive and showed up when he said he would. He also cleaned up the mess left by the electricians which was above and beyond the call of duty. Thanks Philip!
