3 Day Reno

Work started on Oct 1 and abruptly stopped on Oct 12. I paid approx $12,000 and more that 80% work incomplete. Came to know the owner Andrej Marcon and his wife Klaudia have closed the business and are absconding after after taking money from me and many others.

I went through three project managers, with people either quitting or being fired. I gave one deposit before the work got started, one after demolition was completed -- and without warning, the company has been shutdown and no work is being done. My second cheque was cashed the day after the company closed. No one from the company is responding, and I'm out money with a mess at home.

We started our project in March 2018 with a recommendation from a friend who was satisfied. Things went off the rails the second week after demo when we learned the Project Manager, Brian was fired/quit. A new person, Boris was assigned but it took him weeks to figure out our project. Meanwhile, we had an empty kitchen and plywood for a back wall from March until the end of July. Since August, no work has been done to finish electrical, securing windows, painting, and installing a front door. Just learned that all the project managers walked due to mismanagement of funds (i.e. they have none of our money). Have heard nothing from the company about our remaining work which values around 5,000-7,000.

Leaving this review in hopes of other clients seeing it and adding to this company's dire tale.

According to my Project Manager, 3 Day Reno has gone AWOL. The office is empty and emails and calls are left unanswered.

This also means that there will be no further work on in-progress jobs. Mine is about 95% of the way done, but anyone who is stuck with a demolished house is, apparently, in big trouble.

If you look at their google reviews over the last few days, it's clear they have gone under and disappeared with many people's money.

Needless to say, you should steer totally clear of this company (if it even still exists).

I'm trying to get in touch with a Lawyer to explore options.

Contract was signed in June, right now with more than 60% of the payment of the contract made, they have stopped working in my house and it is gutted where I have nowhere to live. Andrej, the owner, apparently has stopped all communication. A great deal of trades are not paid and liens are expected to come. The structural work performed is terrible! Did not pass inspection and does not plan to come back and work on it. They owe me more than $80,000. All his employees have left.

Stay away from this company.

Work and organization of 3DayReno was horrible from the first day that work started. Constant mistakes were not captured - 1 mistake EVERY DAY. Wrong measurements, wrong hardware, very little communication or call back unless they were asking for a cheque. They subcontract out work, but has not paid the subcontractor, and they have since stopped work.

Stay away from 3DayReno, unless you want subcontractors walking out on the job.

3DayReno cannot be reached. The website is shut down. I was told the company no longer exists.

Their website is shut down. They don't answer the phone. It seems like they went out of business or left town.

Extremely unsatisfied- contract signed in January - job to start before the end of February and finish before the end of March - stairs finally went in a week ago and many things poorly done or not finished - and now they won’t come back to fix anything - this was a total redo - dug out basement - underpinned and built fresh - door casings have swollen till doors won’t shut - when they finally put the stairs in they removed a couple pieces of baseboard and there is mould behind them.
All in all a terrible experience- not thrilled to see that they can afford a brand new website but not responsible workers

3 Day Reno just completed my beautiful kitchen renovation. The cabinetry, counter top and backsplash turned out amazing and I love it. Both the employees and subcontractors were all amazing, friendly and knowledgeable. They all made sure that my house was well protected during the renovation, everyone cleaned up after themselves and sent professional cleaners at the end of the project. The best experience I have ever had with a renovation in my home and would highly recommend them.
