Westridge Cabinets Ltd.

I was impressed that they hand-craft every piece of their cabinetry, no off shore product at Westridge... They are built by Albertans for Albertans, they test the finish of every door panel to the demands of daily use with industry-leading quality control standards, and back every cabinet with what they call a "Total Care Guarantee" and "Lifetime Limited Warranty." I talked with Stephan, their Regional Service Manager and he was the greatest, he cared about our project like it was his own.

My wife is happy, so I'm delighted...

Our new home is just amazing particularly the Kitchen! We used a designer at Westridge who was able to draw everything we wanted...and did not want into our very custom kitchen. I found the process to be fairly simple...once we completed our "must have" list and made only minor changes after the initial design. It is absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations! We are working on our walk out development plan next, and will be using Westridge for the bar and entertainment area. I only found out at the very end of the install that everything is made right in Red Deer! How wonderful!

Westridge was the most stressful part of our renovations, I have recommended that family and friends NOT use them. It didn't take 1 week to receive the drawings but 3 weeks. Even though two people measured the area we picked up several wrong measurements in the plans and the sales associate Megan didn't seem to be that concerned about it. I called Megan's boss Steen to complain and that was another huge mistake. When our product came in we had pieces that weren't ours, wrong size, over-sprayed, marked up and several missing pieces. I tried to call Megan but she wouldn't take my calls so I emailed her and cc'd Steen and finally got a response. We had so many problems Stephen from Red Deer came down and promised I would have the pieces I needed for the granite install, the pieces didn't come. When the new pieces arrived we had missing pieces, wrong sizes, over-sprayed and damaged pieces yet again. Finally we got everything installed and they sent Sean to repair the damage, he did a great job. He was was only reason I gave Westridge a one star rating and not a zero. I would recommend not giving them all the money before you inspect your produce.

I've had nothing but a miserable experience with this Granite & Cabinet Fabricator! They installed the incorrect materials for both. They didn't allow us to view the granite template or notify us prior to them installing both! Note they had access to the property for the granite installation and we were dismayed one weekend after coming home to see what they installed was not what we chose from the Supplier! Steer clear of this company! HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT GO TO WESTRIDGE!

We started a small kitchen reno in March 2012. We were promised cabinets would be installed within 4 - 5 weeks from the date we signed off on the design (March7, 2012).
% weeks later we had cabinets sitting in our demolished kitchen, 1 week for the installer to install them, he did an absolutely marvellous job, NO fault of his.

The cabinets as delivered had short falls i.e.: wrong size cabinet, wrong doors, missing parts. We were promised prompt repairs. 3 weeks later we were told the missing items would arrive the next week. Which they did, sort of.

The wrong size cabinet was replaced with a correct one, however doors were still wrong, parts were still missing.

Another promise of prompt rectification.

As this was getting to be really silly letters started to be mailed, e-mails were sent, phone calls were made from us to them, these went to managers who promised prompt service.

Still no solving of the problems, I went so far as to write an e-mail to the CEO of the company in Red Deer, this also has not been answered as of November 2013.

In July we were informed that our replacement doors had arrived, the only issue was we were out of the country and therefore they could not install them, Later we were told that the delay in installing the doors were that we had refused them entry. Doors were finally installed in September 2013.

A request for some adjustments was made by us, the person they sent did an excellent job on those, however we pointed out that a door handle was missing and we were promised it would be dropped off in our mail box that night. A month later it arrived.

While the tech was here adjusting doors a QC person showed up and was checking the cabinets when he noticed that the wine rack we had them build and install all the shelves were not level, we had decided that we were simply going to live with it. The QC fellow (Branch manager) insisted that a new one would be built and installed.

A month later they called to tell us our wine rack was here and they would like to install it, arrangements were made.

A installer showed up, ripped out 1 shelf, told my wife that he has no idea how to take the wine rack out and besides that the replacement one is just as crooked as the one we have in. He left,

We now have a wine rack that is missing a shelf and the large screws and holding things are sticking our, this is very obvious, the crooked shelves were not so much.

They called a week ago telling us they have another new wine rack, as we are a little busy and it is now the Xmas season we have only called once regarding install.

I am sure this will be our fault also.

We chose Westridge for all our cabinets - kitchen, bar, office, laundry, bathrooms and media. We were very pleased with each step of the process and final outcome. We highly recommend them for their selection, workmanship and quality. .

From beginning to the end product I was continuously amazed at the dedication and passion each staff member had. Excellent customer service, outstanding experience and staff expertise. The quality of the cabinets and the finish of the cabinet lay out is exactly what we expected as depicted by draft drawings. Great communication, always punctual and available to come out amd make adjustments as needed.

Our General Contractor insisted on using Westridge. After losing our drawings and delaying the delivery date by 1 week, we were still hopeful. We came home from holidays to find the installers at work. Once we inspected their work we found they were also assembling someone else's countertops in our dining room! We them found out that our custom made cabinets were wrong! We had to wait another month before the right cabinets were installed with the wrong toekicks. We wrote to the president to ask his response and after 2 months, still no response! We would not recommend Westridge to anyone.

We dealt with Westridge for our new home ( builders chocie, not ours) and were very pelased with the service and final product. There was an issue with the wrong cabinets being installed but they stepped up to the plate with no hesitation or excuses and fixed it. We ended up with more than we paid for.

Not knowing what we wanted in our kitchen we found that Westridge Cabinets had the best sales team whith a wealth of knowledge. Not only that but the kitchens are custom unique and the show rooms are excellent for those hard to make decicsions.

Next project will be our bathrooms!
