Lee Valley Carpentry

Lee Valley Carpentry built the amazing deck in my back yard in Oct 2021. He did a good job and is within my
budget. He responded to my email inquiry promptly. I will definitely hire him again.

We used Mark Armstrong before to replace our balcony and to build our patio. He also finished the neighbours balcony. In all cases, Mark was very efficient and built an excellent product. We are very happy with his services.

Mark did an awesome job rebuilding our back deck. He encountered a number a challenges along the way owing to the poor construction of the old deck. He was great in communicating these challenges and very up front and reasonable in terms of addressing them. His work proceeded on schedule and wrapped up quickly. Very nice guy as well. Could not be happier with our new deck.

Mark installed hardwood floors on the entire main floor of our house. His carpentry skills are amazing to say the least. He was so precise on his cuts in around the kitchen and walls, that we literally did not have to put the trim back on. I think of myself as a fairly handy guy and perfection is my middle name. Mark is a perfectionist. Without a doubt, one of the best carpenter’s I have ever witnessed. Now I am just looking for things to fix so I get him back..ha.

We needed approximately 900lin ’ of crown molding installed on our two-storey home, and after a long and stressful search we were so fortunate to finally find Mark.
He gave us an estimated quote via email and came to look at the job to give a firm quote, and it was basically what he said it would be.

Mark was incredibly friendly, and professional, we could tell he knew what he was doing and talking about.

He gave us a price and timeframe, was even able to start a day earlier than anticipated.

He was always on time and incredibly respectful of our home, our space and needs (family of 4 with two teenage daughters & I work from home)
He worked nonstop through the day, a total machine, he moved furniture as needed, put it back, and cleaned up everything as he went along.

Mark gave suggestions on what we could do in certain locations, and even built corner squares for us out of our leftover baseboards to make sure the crown looked amazing in our bonus room with vaulted ceilings, and boy did he ever do a great job with that, looks totally awesome!

The overall job was on time, in budget and performed with amazing execution, he knows what he is doing, no doubt there!

I can tell you that anything else we need completed on our home or friend/family’s homes he will be my first phone call. I really don’t think anyone could out-do him, absolutely incredible from first meet to finish.

Mark removed the old oak railing and replaced with new maple and wrought iron railing. Work was done methodically and very clean and unobtrusive to my family or my dogs. Very well done on time and on budget

Mark is a very skilled carpenter and great guy. I researched his work and viewed his carpentry pictures online before deciding to go with him. Let me just say his work is unreal. His cuts are so precise and true he is truly a very skilled carpenter. Our ceiling turned out so beautiful, even the painters that came commented on how well put together everything was. Mark also created custom cabinets in our laundry room that were better than I ever imagined. My wife and I literally did not want to let him go, we were trying to make up projects for him to do because we were so impressed with his work. I can’t say enough good things about Mark. We will be using him again in the future 110%. Go with Mark in confidence!
