Daryl was recommended to me by a friend. When I called him he was very polite and willing to help me out for this small job. He came and reviewed the job I had and recommended what I should do. After finding the correct brick to do the job (which was very hard) he came right away to get the job complete. Would recommend this company to anyone needing masonry work.

VERY disappointed with this contractor. I had Daryl(Misiak Masonry) come do/start a job at the start January 2019, which to date is still not completed, even AFTER I have paid him in full. After he laid some Erth Covering stone for my fireplace, there is numerous gaps/spaces within the bricks, along with the hole around the fireplace itself is not finished. He suggested I bring someone else in to grout the stone as he’s not able to. I discussed with him throughout the month of January/February on what HE could do to fix the unfinished hole around the fireplace for the job he started, but as of now he has stopped responding to me. I would not recommend this contractor as he has shown that he is not trustworthy or reliable based on the experience I have now had with him.

Daryl and his team came in to rebuild the field stone skirt on the front of my house. They were professional and left my front yard clean, as if they hadn’t even been working there. When they were done with it, the end result was amazing. Would recommend them to anyone needing stone work done!

Misiak Masonry built us a stone wall in our newly renovated basement and it was more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. Daryls attention to detail and overall professionalism was outstanding! We were impressed with the deisgn, communication, fair prices and cleanliness after the job was completed. We will continue to highly recommend this company to anyone looking for masonry work.

THE COMPANY OWNER ASKED ME TO PAY FOR THE JOB IN FULL EVEN WHEN I WAS TO RECEIVE A CREDIT FOR AN EXCESSUVE AMOUNT OF PRODUCT (STONE) THAT WAS NEVER USED. IN GOOD FAITH I PAID HIM IN FULL AND HE PROMISED TO RETURN WITH A CHEQUE FOR THE AMOUNT OF PRODUCT RETURNED. 5 MONTHS LATER AND HE WILL NOT EVEN RETURN MY CALLS LET ALONE SETTLE THIS MATTER. I HAVE RETAINED A LAWYER TO SETTLE THIS MATTER NOW. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE DISHONEST!!

Very dissatisfied with the service and the lack of communication. Would not recommend to anyone one looking for brick work. I will write a more favourable review when they make it right.

Once job was started, employees generally showed up.
Communication between employer and employees was very poor, to the point they didn't know the finer details of quote.
Do not pay until all work is completed according to quote agreed to.

I called around and received many quotes. But with Daryl it just seemed like the right fit. He is a small business owner who cares about the job he does. We had him parge three sides of our house and he did an amazing job. He did it in a timely manner and wasn't charging through the roof. Definitely a business everyone should contact.
