Mr. Drywall

I don't usually write reviews and I wasn't going to but I just couldn't take it anymore. Every single time I go into my sons room I see all of the flaws on the walls from the job they did- corner isn't sharp and looks rounded (see picture and yes, that's a corner), bumpy around light switches/outlets, small indents in the mudding- horrible. Even worse is the hallway (see picture). I feel duped and totally slighted by this company. Ali was wonderful to work with but the end product was far from acceptable. Please, save yourself a future with the constant reminder that you didn't hire the right company and go elsewhere. I wish I had.

Hired Mr.Drywall to install drywall in my basement reno (800 ft2 space). The quote was competitive (certainly some quotes from other company's were much much higher), and I felt confident in them based on reviews and meeting them. Once the process started, with delivery of the materials, there were some communication issues, regarding timing of when to be home, when work would start. The actual hanging of the drywall went well, quickly and efficiently. Mudding and taping took longer due to the weather and basement conditions, which Mr.Drywall could not help, but they gave many reco's to me to try to speed up the drying time. Some areas of mudding were challenging, and they did a good job building it up, to look clean and sharp. Some other areas needed touch up, which were pointed out after priming, and they came back and did a reasonable job fixing most spots. Drywall is a messy job best left to pros if you want it to look great.

We hired Mr. Drywall for framing, drywall and taping of our basement. I was a bit nervous initially since we were dealing directly (and not through a contractor) but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Ali did a remarkable job in patiently listening to what we had to say and then implementing any changes timely. Overall, we are very happy with the service that we received and would highly recommend them!

Mr. Drywall hired to remove wood paneling walls, ceiling and carpet and install new drywall in my basement rec room. They worked within our short timeline completing the job in four days, one demo, one drywall installation and two taping.
The results are excellent.

The foyer was a difficult job due to the high ceiling and stairway and caused some problems for the tradesmen. Ali was very helpful in getting us through the difficulties however and the job was completed. It took longer than expected however.

It's a job well done! I will hire Mr.Drywall again for my next property. I recommend Mr.Drywall to friends&family.

I hired Ali and his team to install drywall in three bathrooms, a hallway and staircase. They also did some other small areas. The team did a great job with some tricky spots. Ali was great to deal with. Very responsive and they did a nice job cleaning up after themselves. I was very happy with their work. They met all expectations.
