I live in BC so calls,texts,emails. My sister's cedar tree needed big trim- now needs arborist care - she's devastated. Miscommunication about hedge removal, but no refund or discount for mistake. Sad.

Hi Lindsay, I'm sorry you feel this way.
We always want our clients to be happy with our work and this situation became confused as the client was coordinating with us from British Columbia for their sister's property in Brampton.
We quoted both trim and removal options for each section of cedars. Client chose a removal for a dying section of cedar hedge. Emails, before/after pictures and paid invoice to prove it.
The other cedar was severely overgrown, touching the house and dead on the back side and throughout the inside. Client chose to reduce height and trim, which we did. With how overgrown it was, it was impossible to make it look perfect immediately. Client was warned it will take a few growth seasons to fill in. Client then wanted their money back for their misunderstanding. Client claims to have gotten an arborist report on the cedars, but refuses to share the results.
The review fails to mention the client was happy with the third hedge trim, the mulberry removal and the lilac trim. We also got compliments from the neighbours who where getting tired of looking at the jungle across the street.All the best.
