Chris did an incredible job on a very tricky light install in my older house. He ran into a few challenges and always had options to present me in a very clear manner and was able to complete it better than I imagined and was still done within the timeframe he originally estimated. Chris is very friendly and made sure I completely understood all aspects of the job so there were no surprises. Overall very pleased and would recommend to anyone looking for residential or commercial work.

Chris is AMAZING! Always responds quickly, shows up promptly and is extremely professional. As we have recently moved, we needed a few minor changes done to lighting and thermostat and he did a great job. Not a huge project - but he responded as if it was!

As part of a larger renovation we wanted to relocate our 100A electrical panel. Chris was the first contractor to get back to us with some concrete answers to our questions and his communication was excellent! He provided a better understanding of what was all involved for the job as we were quite confused with the other quotes. Chris came to our house and scoped out the job, within a few hours he had provided a quote for the work. The job actually cost a little less than we were prepared to spend, and we were so impressed with Chris' communication that we had him start the work as soon as he could fit us in.

Chris showed up a few minutes early each day. He managed the permit process and the inspection process. He also managed the final hookup from Enmax. With the changing times from the city inspector and Enmax Chris kept us in the loop and everything went very smoothly. He took great care to make sure everything around the mast entrance on the roof was sealed and water tight. Our electrical panel is now in a much more practical location and we could not be more pleased about it! We will totally be using Chris for the rest of the electrical in the basement and will happily refer him to anyone in need of an electrician.

It is rare to find a contractor who communicates as well as Chris, he is very friendly always on time and very upfront about his prices. It was a great experience overall!

I was told by a home inspector that I needed to replace 2 wires. One in the furnace room and the other attached to the garbage disposal. He told me that he would change it if it was in his house.

After a decade in our home, we're gradually upgrading, renovating and making changes in our home. We hired 12 Gauge Electrical to swap out our kitchen light fixtures for pot lights. This work required "fishing' lines through the ceiling with no attic access. 12 Gauge Electrical arrived on time, meticulously protected the counter tops and flooring with drop cloths, completed the job expertly while educating us along the way.

They left our kitchen clean and tidy and much, much, brighter! It's now so much enjoyable to work in the bright kitchen.

Since coming to Calgary more than 20 years ago I have learned that honest & reliable trades are worth their weight in gold. Chris is one of those. Not only was his cost very reasonable but the work he did on our unique home was exceptional. He was professional, flexible, patient ... I could go on and on. Chris was absolutely amazing to deal with. His communication was top notch, he was punctual, fairly priced, and he consistently went above and beyond. He was able to problem solve with unexpected issues that came to our attention, and used nothing but the best materials and products. He made sure everything was done to code and took care of the permits for us as well with no issues. Chris and his team had the new panel in quickly so we were not without power for very long at all. I would highly recommend Chris and his team to any of my friends and family, and will be using him again in the future.

I hired 12 Gauge Electrical to do a bunch of work related to a new hot tub. This involved running a new overhead service, moving the meter location and a new larger panel, as well as the electrical work for the tub. Chris was very responsive to all of my questions and concerns, his main goal is to make sure you are satisfied with the work. He took care to make sure the work was done neatly, was on time and stuck with the job once he started. All of the work passed City inspection so you can rest easy that he will do the job properly and take care of any issues. I would definitely hire him again in the future.
