Stannah was recommended to us by family friends in Ottawa. We had the first one installed for my father in our Ottawa home which has a beautiful spiral staircase. The stair lift was custom designed and fit the shape of the staircase with precise elegance. The installation was hassle free. The service providers and technical personnel were highly trained, considerate and helpful. A few years later we moved into a new home in Hamilton. The Stannah team in Ottawa and Toronto helped us coordinate a new installation in Hamilton. The excellent service continued. Over 5 years of continuous use we have had no trouble with the stair lift.

We had a Stannah 260 Custom Curve Stairlift installed from our basement to the second floor. The entire experience was positive. We recommend Stannah without reservation both from a product performance standpoint and top notch personnel. Matthew visited our home, studied the need, made measurements and presented a quote. Very thorough. With only a minor change the architectural drawings matched his initial work.

Joe, Ben and David were the installation team. Always masked. They were very careful. Checked and double checked each segment of the travel to assure it operated properly. Reviewed the operation with us. Worked digilently for the 3-4 hours required for the installation. Kudos to all.

One of the reasons I would recommend Stannah is that there is no middle-man. You are dealing directly with the manufacturer and Installation team, so there is stronger accountability.

I want to thank the Mobility Sales Specialist and Installation Crew of Stannah, Markham. From start to finish I was pleased with the process and service provided. The Mobility Sales Specialist was patient in educating us and explained why a different stairlift to the one I had chosen would be better for my parent. He also suggested looking at government rebates for (home improvement tax credits for seniors). The Installation crew were professional and efficient. I had two stairlifts put in, from ground to 2nd floor and ground floor to basement. It was completed in record speed plus they removed an existing handrail which cluttered the space on the stairs and they installed the remotes exactly where I wanted. Clean up was done well too.

Really happy with the whole process, from getting a price quote to finished product. Stair lifts are not common and you really don't know where to start when researching. Stannah was able to provide experts, Christy, who are knowledgeable and willing to spend time in educating and guiding through. From products, process, pricing to final installation. Really gave us the assurance in going with Stannah chair lift.

Also, there's not much reviews on senior products out there. No fancy YouTuber throwing sexy cinematic reviews for senior chair lifts. So you'll end up reading a bunch of random thoughts off google and still be skeptical (like this one you're reading, thinking I got paid).

Stannah was the best in clarifying all the confusion, so we went with them. Mainly the company have been around for a long time and pride itself in service and product quality. Their pricing is absolutely justified. When you need a product like this, you don't want to compromise. You just want to have it done and done right so your parents can get up / down the stairs. If there's issues, you know they are around for you.

Thanks guys for doing a great job at installation. Ben, Joe, David high speed ninja their way in and out. There were absolutely no mess to clean up after. Took care of the original hand rails, doors and even hang up my dad's clock. Highly recommend, the professionalism is top notch.

A special thank you goes out to our mobility specialist Matthew, who was patient in answering my questions, quick to follow-up to all requests, flexible in scheduling appointments, and overall very pleasant to work with.

Lead time of this custom manufactured stair lift (from taking measurements of the stairs to installation) was 9 weeks instead of the 4-5 weeks quoted. I assume this longer turnaround was due to current COVID restrictions and the Christmas holidays?

I would readily recommend Stannah to anyone looking for a quality stair lift that is solid, safe, and easy to use. Stannah has given me a peace of mind knowing that my senior parents can safely remain in their current house for as long as they wish. Most importantly, my parents are very satisfied with the end product.

There are many providers of Stair lifts - and it was difficult, at first, to decide. In my mind, if you do not have good service at the start, you wont have a good finish. I had excellent service from day one; from the Sales Rep, to the Technical and Installer Co-Ordinator, right to Joe the installer. I do not know anything about stair lifts, but I do now. It was installed around my schedule, all my questions were answered, and the installer (Joe) even swept up. Rare. For sure! in new construction I have had many contractors that have not bothered to even attempt to clean up. Well done. i would highly recommend.
