Poor workmanship - DOES NOT USE TILE TAPE and many other issues
Job: Tile shower wall and floors + Bathroom floors. All cement walls were already installed, and I provided all materials and shower doors were installed by other contractor after. $2,00 cost was for his expertise and labour only.
Roni says the right things and gives you confidence when you meet him. He and his helper were pleasant.
They do NOT Use drywall tape, he says it is not necessary, which it is! As you can see in the pictures, after only 2 months, the tiles are separating at the grout line, and has cracked one of the tiles.
He had poorly installed the trim around the niche (see pic) which was very sharp, and looked awful. He "Fixed" it within 2 weeks. When fixed, he cut the piece too short. Its no longer sharp, but looks bad.
They also chipped the corner of 2 tiles... and installed them anyway without informing me!
He told me I had to do all the caulking myself!? I hired him, so I wouldn't have to do any additional work.
We are very concerned that other tiles will crack and separate, due to no tile tape being used. Which means we will have to hire another company to demo, redo all the work, and purchase all materials again. I feel we may end up in court soon with Roni.
