We contracted Paul and CanAussie to replace all the original windows and 1 set of patio sliders in our 1970s home. Paul was very accommodating and able to work with our timeline (we signed in February or March and didn't have the work scheduled until July), and actually made a suggestion to replace the slider that fit with what we wanted but wouldn't jeopardize resale value. I actually wanted to change the slider onto the balcony - only accessible from the master - to a single door, but Paul suggested a replacement that works better, gives me tons of airflow in the bedroom, and just looks great!
There were a few delays (weather and a manufacturing delay, neither the fault of Can Aussie), but these were MORE than made up for by the upgraded (and gorgeous) trim that Paul installed to match the character of the front door better than a standard trim.
We were planning to add a new window, but bylaw stated we were at the max sqft, so we wound up paying less than the quote and the only additional was less than $300 in extra materials needed to replace the exterior trim which we hadn't originally planned on. So all told, there were 8 windows (one of them absolutely massive) and the balcony door replaced with triple pane for well under $20K.
Would recommend (and in fact already have recommended to at least 3 people)!!
