What a fantastic experience we had with John and PAC Building Group. From beginning to end, John and the team worked on our house as if it was their own. No detail was spared and decisions were always thoughtfully made. John was a great communicator, consistently quick to reply to any questions and helpful in the advice and guidance he provided throughout. We were very pleased with the end result of our total house renovation.

John Caira is incredibly talented and devoted to making a client’s dream come true. He is a fountain of knowledge within the industry and makes visions happen within financial means (whatever they entail). PAC Building Group comes through for the customer; I ran into hurdles and surprises during this complete home renovation. I was reluctant initially to go with a new company, however they provided crafty , financially plausible solutions to all unknown concerns. Great company, fantastic renovation within a contractually binding timeframe- no significant delays!

John and his crew should be on TLC!!! I hired them to do a major kitchen renovation and was extremely satisfied with the quality of their work and their professionalism. Some of these qualities not often found in other contractors I hired were:
- on time EVERY morning
- cleaned up nicely each day before leaving
- made really great suggestions different than my initial requests and ideas (e.g., use extra dining space to create a big pantry)

John oversaw the entire project and came by and checked on the work being done when he wasn't actually onsite. We had absolutely no problems during the renovations, and now we have an even nicer kitchen (and pantry) that's even better than what we had anticipated.

I highly recommend Caira Renos and Design (CR & D) for any of your renovations or new home projects. We will definitely be using John again for further work in our home and other family members'.

We hired John and his team to renovate our 12 year old master bathroom. Our main concern was the shower which was dark and lacked air flow. The shower floor was uneven and occasionally caused some leaking. It started as a small reno but ended up gutting almost everything except the tub. John was easy going, very reliable and understood what our needs were. We're very happy with our new bathroom. Would not hesitant to use him again.

The first renovation in our new house, was the master bathroom ensuite.After interviewing afew contractors, we decided to go with John Caira,and his partner Vince, since they understood the look and the budget I was hoping to achieve. They were on scheduale right from the beginning, and worked professionally throughout the project.They were very pleasent to work with, and the end result was most rewarding since we now have a beautiful spa like bathroom, thanks to their workmanship.I am happy to pass on my recommendation,to anyone who is wanting a well done renovation.Thanks to the again, Marcie R

I contracted Caira Reno for an unfinished basement. The owner was respectful, honest and detail oriented. The project took three weeks to complete and in the end we were left with a beautiful finished basement with an open concept kitchen, one bedroom and bath, ideal for rental and extra income. I appreciated the fact that they were able to advise on cost efficiencies (saving us money we would of otherwise spent). We are very pleased with the professionalism and the work! Thank you John!

My dance studio had extensive water damage from a hot water tank above our unit. Water damages spread through 2 of our 3 dance studios, lobby, office, changerooms, and bathrooms.
Caira Reno were on site quickly to help prevent further damage as the water was still flowing. Once the fire department shut off the water, the restoration crew arrived to bring in drying equipment and take out all damaged walls, floors, and furniture. Caira Reno was there each morning to see how progress was going and were quick to get started on the reconstruction once the restoration crew were finished.
Having just started our dance season, I set a tight timeline for the completion of the repairs. The crew were understanding and worked hard through a holiday weekend to get us back dancing. Finishing touches were done during the day and I was able to have my dance classes during the evening.
The crew were professional and quick to respond to any of my needs. The workmanship was professional and I am very thankful that they were able to work for me on this emergency. I look forward to having them work on more projects in the future.

I had water damage in my shower stall. Caira Reno removed the old tiles very carefully without affecting any other areas of the bathroom, (as I requested), completed all the necessary plumbing and electrical as required. They replaced the facing tiles which were salvaged and redid the entire inside stall, provided suggestions on tiles that would compliment existing ones. I am so happy with the finished product. It looks amazing and was completed in a few days. Will not hesitate to call John for my next reno project. Great job!

The above title of this project doesn't do it justice - this was a complete gut job. We have a century home in East Toronto. When we purchased it, the 3rd bedroom was a gross old kitchen from the 1940's - layer upon layer of linoleum, fake tiling on the walls that was made of sheets of wood, and old musty cabinetry.

Caira Reno came to the rescue - tore all of the 'yuck' out (and removed very cleanly - literally no dust for me to clean up!), put up nice new drywall, did all of the taping, mudding, sanding, etc, sourced great wide baseboards in keeping with the age of our house, built new window and door frames, etc, etc.

Caira Reno brought in great trades at really reasonable prices - an electrician to drop the sockets down closer to the ground, and a carpet guy that was super quick - once we picked what we wanted, when he came in to install, he was in and out in a flash!

We couldn't be happier - should mention that this wasn't just a bedroom reno - the project was undertaken for a very important reason - to be a beautiful nursery for our first kiddo - now at 18 months old, he still loves his room!
