Tandem Landscaping

Very happy with Tandem. We had a complete yard overhaul. They provided us with 3D design also. They installed retailing walls, new irrigation system, landscape lighting and a perfola. We were impressed with thier 5 year warranty too. Highly recomend!

I cannot day enough great things about Maksym, Chelsea and the whole crew at Tandem Landscaping. The lawn in our backyard was turned into a mud pit by crows and raccoons and was a complete unsightly mess! Maksym was able to design and implement a thoughtful hardscape that took into consideration future potential landscaping needs as well as a style that we loved! We did not want any flowering plants in the flower bed which made life a little difficult for Chelsea but she really came through with design and plant choice that met our needs for both limited upkeep while adding colour and vibrance! The timeline for the job had a wrench thrown in the middle of it because of covid-19 but Maksym was great about staying in touch and giving us updates. Everything from the initial consultation, budget and completion was more than we expected. We would 110% recommend Tandem Landscaping!

We selected Tandem to do our front yard renovation based on other reviews on Homestars. It was a pretty big job, we were asking for the entire yard to be ripped up and replaced with hardscape and new plantings, across 2 levels, and the property is on a slope to boot.

From our first meeting with Maks we were confident that he was the right guy for the job, and he didn't disappoint. He was upfront with costs and timelines, and started on time. We happened to start just as the COVID isolation orders were being instituted, fortunately for us landscaping was exempt and Maks was insistent that he would complete the job so long as he could work and source materials - suffice to say our original timelines went out the window :-), but it got done with no major hiccups. The work was done as quickly and efficiently as possible, with minimal mess and without too much intrusion on the neighbours yard. During the job we had a few pivots, but Maks took the time to talk us through our options and make suggestions. He was also accommodating of the small changes that we asked for midway, which was great.

Overall we are very happy with the results. I would definitely recommend Maks and Tandem for any landscaping projects. We plan to use them again for our backyard renovation later this year or early next year. Thanks a ton!

Tandem Team re-did our entire yard and did a great job! They rebuilt our patio and walkways around the house. Build a beautiful arbour for the patio as well. They were able to help us with plant selection for our backyard to create a more beautiful space with colors all year round. It looks like a totally new yard. Our neighbours are jealous! My consultation went very painless as I was extremely in the dark about what I wanted or what would thrive on my property. Chelsea designed a beautiful seasonal garden for me to enjoy all year round with the complimenting foundations and accents that Maks brought with his skill and creativity.
