They installed a draw under my double wall oven and the first time I cleaned the oven it melted the top of the draw. I have been trying to contact Cody to no avail. I even filed a complaint with the BBB and even they could not make contact

Beware. I had a contract with Alteck Group for Bathroom Reno. In the beginning everything was going fine until they did a horrible spray foam insulation and were called out to redo the work - both by me and Building Inspector. Alteck Group began buying time for some reason, to the point of contract termination and request of the refund for all the incomplete work that they were paid for. It have been few month and their promises of the refund are simply that promises in the mail. They never tried to contact me and they were paid over 12,000.00CAD for the work that they never completed. ALTECK still owns me that money and they are did nothing but play games. On rare occations that I have managed to get hold of them, Alteck's "Cody" would saying things like:"Your check is in the mail", "Our worker will drop it off at your place since they are in the area", etc. Do NOT trust this company, only pay for the work done and NEVER upfront. I have also attached images of their "Profesional" foaming job that was inspected by City of Ottawa Inspector was deemed incomplete. I have inspection report and pictures of their work to prove their claimes are false. ALTECK made no effort, beyond their games to buy time, to contact me and rectify the situation. After I wrote a Google review, ALTECK Group contacted me to remove the review on Google, and they would return $5,000.00 after I sign papers not to disclose and pursue the issue in the future. I noted that they must return the total overpayment. ALTECK refused, stating that they have to do something with the remainder without my permission. It has been a few months and they have not returned my overpayment.

I had a small leak in my house when it rained a lot. Altech responded fast and efficiently. In addition to sealing the leak, at my request, they replaced the original vent with a much better one. I am very please with their services. If required, I would call on them again.

We were referred to Alteck Geoup through a friend who had used their services. We would highly recommend them anyone. They whole process was great. We received our quotation and design within 48 hours and were instantly impressed with how detailed the quote was. Throughout the whole job they were always up front and came to us with any issues and addressed them right away in a very professional manner. My wife and I were looking to finish our basement as we have a unfinished basement.
Our home was built in the early 1960s and needed a bathroom and a guest room for when family visits. We were recommended to Alteck Group. I gave them a call and quickly had their team at my house. The home designer and the contractor measured my basement and handed me a 3D remodel of the new basement! We loved the floor plans and we decided to have the work completed. The new guest room and the new bathroom with the heated floors are definitely making my guests ask me questions on the new basement. The new Laundry room with storage closets are absolutely a space saver! The living room space is cozy and the pod lights give off a good amount of ambiance! We are thrilled to have weekly movie nights after work. Thank you for the new transformation !

Alteck group was extremely organized, professional, kind & overall just great to deal with. This was my first home renovation and I was extremely nervous about hiring the right contractor to complete the work. Alteck group not only completed the job ahead of the predetermined schedule but within the budget price we had discussed and kept me informed every step of the way as the job progressed. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a great trustworthy contractor & look forward to hiring them again for my future projects to come.

We initially called Cody to come have a look at some work we had in mind. After our initial meeting we were so impressed with his knowledge and experience. We decided to get our roof done at the same time as our siding. We had gotten multiple quotes and although Alteck wasn't the least expensive we realized that we would rather pay for quality and experience. Once the job was completed we were so pleased that we recommended Alteck Group to our neighbors who have signed up for the spring. Amazing company! Cody definitely changed our view on how contactors work. They were always on time and made sure to leave to yard cleaner than when they arrived. Best contactors we've worked with by far.

We were impressed with Cody and his crew from the very first meeting & quote. They took a problem solving approach to replacing the crumbling old siding on our 75 year old house that was both creative and practical, as well as sensitive to our limited budget. At their suggestion, we added insulation at the same time, and immediately noticed that our house is much warmer. The crew were hardworking, prompt, professional and friendly. We would enthusiastically recommend Alteck, and would hire them again in a heartbeat.
