Moved into my townhouse about 5 years ago, and to my dismay the finishing by the revolving door of trades hired by the builder at the end of the project were pretty abyssal. The paint and caulk on my staircases were cracked within the first few months, and the builder's sad attempt at repair was to slap on even MORE caulk and paint on top of the poor initial job. The "before" pictures don't show the worst parts...it was pathetic!! After the work completed (i.e. this entailed scraping off the offending paint and caulk, priming, re-caulking and re-painting) these are the stairs I should have enjoyed from the get-go. It's a major improvement, and wish I had done this sooner. I'm pleased and no longer embarrassed by the condition of my staircases. Thanks SO much Sheldon @Sha Monique!
