Jason and his team were phenomenal to work with. We hired them to paint our house, top to bottom, and were extremely pleased with the result. They spent a ton of time removing layers of varnish from wood throughout the house (staircases, baseboards, door frames, kitchen cupboards etc...) so it could be painted and also did all our ceilings and walls. The team was very efficient, working quickly and with deep attention to detail. Jason was very communicative, keeping us updated on progress and checking in along the way. Would absolutely recommend Colour by Design for anyone looking for painting work!

A fantastic experience at every step in the process. I received a prompt reply from Jason when I contacted him. We arranged a time for him to visit and scope the work and an estimate was provided right then. Between his ratings here and his professionalism, I hired him on the spot and booked a slot for the work to be done. It included the entire interior of our home including 6 rooms, walls, trim, ceiling, doors and staircase. We also had some damage (holes, dog chews) to fix. He provided advice on type of paint to use so that the walls could be wiped down when needed. He arrived on time to start work with one other person. They were both expert painters, took care to cover and mask all required and did the job in 3 days. It looks fabulous. Clean up was excellent as well. They were both a pleasure to have in our home - even our dog Wallace came to like them! Would definitely hire them again and highly recommend. Thank you Jason!

We so delighted with the paint job done for us. No mess but perfection! The colour we choose, Jason agreed with us a very great choice; Benjamin Moore “ American white”.

Wow! We hired Jason to install wallpaper in our client's home. Having never used wallpaper before, our client was a bit apprehensive, and I had specified grass-cloth which can be tricky to do a really great job with. She was very happy with the wallpaper installation as am I. Right from the first time I met Jason, I knew he was responsible, thoughtful and would be as particular about the details as I am. I wouldn't have it any other way. As a designer, it is my responsibility to hire trades who are an extension of my brand. Jason is a professional I will most certainly hire again and again.
