AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!

I called many reputable well-known companies first to come fix our problem, but no one was available, and this was an emergency for us... I called this company and Hassan came very quickly to fix our boiler as we have no hot water... They said we needed to change XYZ, much of it to pad the bill for the quote to be 2,500$, but would accept 2k cash... but I was desperate to get it fixed as my wife was on me, so I hesitantly agreed...

He asked for cash upfront before they started the job, which I declined and said you will get paid at the end, which he agreed to... Also claimed he works fast, and the job will be done within 1 hour... His brother Ali came to assist him... They changed all the parts, and Hassan left his brother to finish the job but said he now wants 50% of the money as he needs to go... He assured me the boiler would be working and I can pay the remaining 50% to his brother Ali at the end, which I begrudgingly agreed to... Ali could not get the boiler to work, and spent much of his time trying to fix all the water leaks he caused... He was here for an additional 6 hours, and left close to 9pm, saying he cant fix it and that his brother will come at 10am the next morning... I fired them right after as I got a sense they didnt know what they were doing... I told them not to come back and called an emergency service with a big reputable well-known company...

The next morning the new company showed up, and told me that this company (Hassan and his brother Ali) caused a lot of damage, broke things and all the parts they put in, need to be replaced as they were wrong and not appropriate for our boiler, which will now cost us even more money...

I told Hassan all this and asked for my money back in which he pretty much told me to go jump into a lake... I am leaving this bad review in the hopes of trying to make sure other customers dont get duped by this company... STAY AWAY!!! I know they will spin a response to this in some fashion, but they came, they diagnosed incorrectly, they got paid 50%, couldnt fix it in the many, many hours they were here, and now will not pay us back... Our conversation ended with him calling me a low class man... I would love to see how they can spin this in their response... DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND STAY AWAY!!! and they left a big mess!!

We recieved a call from you on Firday at 2:15pm. We responded to an emergency call, no hot water for a boiler system. Hassan arrived by 3:00pm, exactly 45 minutes later. Promptly diagnosed the issue, and let the customer know the findings; the pump was broken, and no longer working in any capacity. There was a couple of leaks under the unit from a bleeder and guage. The customer was shown exactly where the issue was, and a quote was vervally provided. We asked for $2300 plust tax for the repair, but the customer offered us a cash deal price. $2000 was agreed to as the payment with the customer. Hassan began by taking the pump, tried to install the new pump but realized that the previous installer, instead of using a proper flange for the pump. Instead of using a half inch, they used an inch flange. After going to the supplier, the flange along with some pipes were replaced under our own cost to get the job done properly and stop the leaks. At 5pm Hassan asked his brother, Ali for help with the job, as he realized it was a bigger job than expected due to the flange size issue, a second pair of hands was needed. Ali came over and he worked on the boiler until 9pm, trying to get the customer's issue resolved as soon as possible. As he had worked for hours, he was tired, and mentioned to the customer we would return the following morning. Previous to that, Hassan had asked for a portion of the payment by 5pm because of the materials already purchased and being used in the repair. We had spent time, energy and major effort. It was made clear to the customer that the remaining balance would be paid after the job was done. When Ali left at around 9pm he was soaked from water and glycol due to the lack of proper installation by the previous contractor, as the drainage pipe was done improperly. At around 10pm we recieved a text from the customer, "you don't need to come back tomorrow. I hired someone else" After answering an emergency call, working from 3pm to 9pm to fix the issue, two people working on it, going back and forth to the supplier, uninstalling and reinstalling the expansion tank, for the remainder of the job he did not give the technitians a chance to complete the work, but rather hired someone else. He's complaining about the plumbing that was done and the pump which was absolutely correct. We removed the expansion tank ETX30 made by WATTS, and we re-installed the exact same unit back for him, and he is complaining we installed the wrong tank. This is not possible. The customer accused Hassan and Ali of causing damage, using unfair words and disrespecting Hassan in terms of his knowledge. The customer carried himself in an extremely mean and rude manner. Therefore, it was clearly explained to him that he had insufficient knowledge regarding heating and cooling systems, and in the end was called a low-class guy due to his actions and demeanor with the company. He was made aware that no more material was needed to finish the job, and so he decided to fire us to get out of paying the remaining $1000 balance, and have the work done at a lower cost. It is unfortunate, that with 17 years of experience and having all required liscences such as from TSSA, the technicians are labelled as unqualified to perform a repair.
