Were very pleased with the work Great West Radon (GWR) did in our home installing a radon mitigation system on November 20, 2024.

We had already purchased an Airthings Wave Plus monitor February of this year, which is one of the monitors GWR recommends. The readings in our home over most of the year were worrisome so we knew we had to act. We contacted a trusted home inspector whom weve worked with before & he provided several recommendations one of which was GWR.

Jordan with GWR came to our home, we discussed our radon readings & concluded a mitigation system was the appropriate next step. He explained the risk of unmitigated radon in a home, the install process from start to finish, what we could expect as a result of installing a mitigation system & he answered all of our questions.

GWRs Devon & Asaf installed the system in our home. They were both very personable, conscientious, & professional, completing the install in less than a day.

Overall, our experience with GWR was exceptional, from our first interaction with Jordan & through the installation.

And best of all, the radon levels in our home started decreasing almost immediately once the system was turned on & two days later the readings continue on a downward trend below GWRs guaranteed level.

Weve already let our family know about our experience & we plan to do the same with our friends & neighbors so they can take appropriate action.

Friendly and professional from my initial phone call to the final report after installation. They did everything on time and explained all of the features and benefits of my system. When Jordan (owner) showed up to do the quote, he took the time to educate us on their approach to radon mitigation. Only then did he start the process to understand what Great West would need to do to successfully complete the project.

When Devon and partner showed up (on time) to actually do the install, he first confirmed everything that I had spoken about to Jordan. Install and cleanup was complete well within the 4-6 hour window they estimated.

Devon advised it would take 2-3 days for the radon levels to approach end point values. We have an Airthings puck to monitor our radon levels. 20 hours after the install we are already down below 50 BQ/M3.

Great, really positive experience with Great West Radon Team. They are professional, knowledgeable and really nice to deal with. We felt really comfortable with the team in our home and they left the workplace exceptionally clean. Our Radon levels went from being in the range of 200 - 400 Bq/M3 to below 20. Very pleased!

Great West Radon provided excellent service from start to finish and the results are amazing! The consultation with Jordan was informative, the booking/invoicing system is flawless, and the installation of the mitigation system on Friday was professionally and efficiently done by the team. They were very respectful, laid out some protective mats by our foyer, cleaned up during and after the installation, and explained how the system works afterwards.

The results are shocking after the mitigation system is installed. Before, our radon detector gave us readings between 200 to 480 bq/m3. After the installation, the radon levels dropped significantly (readings are between 12 to 20 bq/m3) after 24-48 hours.

Absolutely amazing. From the quote to the install. Everything about the experience was 10/10. If you are worried about Radon and want to get an assessment or if you know you have it and are deciding whether or not youll get a remediation done, Great West Radon is the company you want to deal with.

We had high radon in our old house and in this one. In the last house I talked to half a dozen different companies about mitigation and went with GWR. They weren't the cheapest but by far we're the most informed. The installs are professional and quick and for our new house, I didn't even hesitate - I just booked them in. Within 48 hours our levels dropped to almost nothing. If you're not testing, do it now and if your levels come back high, you can't go wrong with GWR.
