We had some asbestos in our home. I had phoned three companies. One did not return my message and the other two came to my house fairly quick. The first company came and completed an inspection and was going to email a quote. Later that day we met Sandra and we were very pleased with the knowledge and experience she had. She informed us of several things that the other company did not mention. Sandra was very patient with us and took the time to explain the removal process.

The quotes came back almost similar in price and we chose to use JJM Environmental.

A few days after we gave the go ahead a crew of gentlemen showed up at the door. They introduced themselves and then went to work. They set up plastic in the area and then turned on their big machines. They took the time to explain how everything worked and what we could expect.

They did an amazing job guiding us with what seemed as a scary moment for us. Thank you JJM Environmental we would recommend your company to everyone we know.

We would like to thank Sandy and her crew for the fabulous job at our property. We were having issues during a recent renovation project. We discovered a lot of mould growth in the walls when we removed cabinets in our unit. We’re were given Sandy’s name from a friend who had recently had them complete some work for.

Their crew came in to complete an inspection and during their inspection they were able to find the source of the moisture. It turns out there was an issue through the back of our building. The mould extended into the crawl space below. Once in the crawl space we also discovered asbestos pipe wrap that we were not aware of and it was in bad condition. She gave gave us an estimate and we had them start the work right away. Due to our tight timeframe they worked non stop until they were done.

They set up containment’s and put the area under negative pressure. Next they completed the removal of all the hazardous materials.

They left the place in such a clean manner. We hired someone to complete air tests when they were done and they were very impressed at how they job was done.

The test all passed and we were then able to continue on with the renovation work. Our drywall contractor was very happy with the straight cuts and the way things were left. They will be receiving a lot of work from us and our trades.

Sandra came to my house to complete an inspection for mould as we had some mold present in our laundry room. During the inspection Sandy had also taken samples of some of the flooring, ceiling and wall materials as I have an older house. The samples were sent off and came back positive for containing asbestos materials. I had another contractor come to my house as well to look as I wanted to compare quotes. The other contractor did not seem to have the knowledge that Sandra had. Sandra talked during the inspection of setting up a containment and would use an air cleaning machine. The other contractor said it wouldn't be necessary to do that. Because of the knowledge Sandra had regarding hazardous materials my wife and I chose to go JJM Environmental, especially because there was not even much difference in the price.

The day JJM Environmental came to start work they continued to impress us. There staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and tidy with their work. They protected my flooring, set up their air barriers and made sure they had a good seal before they started working. Once they opened up the wall they discovered the damage was quite a bit more than what it looked like. I am very glad they had a barrier in place so they mold was contained. They found the problem quickly and were able to fix the venting so this would not continue to cause a problem. I was very amazed in the high quality of work there crew provided. I have dealt with many contractors before and I was very impressed with this service and would recommend JJM Environmental to anyone. Thank you Sandra and your crew!
