I had Daryl come in to give me a quote on a bar for my basement. I've had other quotes but really wasn't sure what I wanted and was provided little guidance. When Daryl came over I showed him the space but explained that I wasn't sure how it should be laid out. Daryl saw it immediately and explained what he would do and how best to put it all together and what I needed for drawers/space in the bar. He took it away, gave a quote which i felt was very reasonable and then got to work on the bar. The custom cabinet/bar is fantastic. Beautifully done and has really added to the space. I cannot recommend him enough. Thank you Daryl.

Daryl and Dustin helped us out of a tight spot during our renovations. They were professional, came prepared, and did a fantastic job installing a flush LVL beam to replace a load bearing wall. It really opened up the space. Would highly recommend them to anyone who needs structural framing work done!

Mallard did a complete renovation including kitchen, 3 bathrooms, family room staircase, 3 bedrooms, dining and living rooms. Daryl was attentive to detail and exceeded our expectation in terms of quality and schedule. There were no hickups and Daryl managed all the trades people.

Daryl is the most awesome reno guy and a great person. We've had him do several renos for us. You can always count on him and his son Dustin and all the top notch contractors he has been using for years to show up on time and do a great job. Any problems he will come back and fix it right away...no questions asked. I wouldn't recommend anyone else but Daryl and Mallard to my friends and family!

Mallard has performed 3 renovations on my residense. Two of the projects repaired and restored my house after the 2005 flood and 2008 flood. Mallard provided emergency recovery work in both events. The care and responsiveness Daryl, Dustin, and Nicole provided our family was beyond all expectations. The project organization, job site cleanliness, and high quality finishing were exceptional. Mallard’s commercial work was also first rate. Daryl’s excellent communication, thoroughness, and high quality work made for high satisfaction on our two commercial projects.

Daryl treats you like family and stands behind his work. When our house flooded in 2013, he was on the job the next day and helped us clean up and rebuild. If I have any problem in my home, no matter what type it is, he is always my first call and will usually come the same day. The quality of his work stands above any other I have seen and so does his service. I would use no other.

On time on budget. Great communication on mon budget items. Professional sub trades. An enjoyable experience.
