No honesty or integrity

I bought a top tier Goodman modulating furnace through the Christmas Bureau auction, provided by Legacy. I had to do research on this furnace, due to its Comfortbridge technology which communicates internally with no need for a proprietary communicating thermostat. The two thermostats that were offered with the furnace package were the Nest and the Ecobee Pro, which the manager at Legacy said he uses with his Goodman modulating furnace. I contacted Ecobee directly and they said the Pro would not be able to control the temperature effectively and the manual from Goodman states their communicating thermostat should be used with this furnace. I managed to track one down and brought this to the managers attention, he said this would be an extra charge to install, and I agreed. I spent quite a bit of time, talking to different companies about this furnace and thermostats because we have a Carrier furnace with a communicating thermostat and I love the functionality of it. Anyways, I recently contacted Legacy about having a heat pump or AC unit installed with the furnace and the manager opted to give my money back instead. I cant believe that a company would rather lose money than understand a customers need to know more about what they are paying for.

Excellent customer services and no hidden fees

I had a furnace breakdown on Feb 4. I called Legacy Heating and Cooling and they were able to send Connor (HVAC) technician on Feb 5, 2024. Connor was very polite and was able to diagnose the problem and fix it within an hour of arrival. I highly recommend this company for their honesty and professionalism. No hidden fees and everything upfront. Connor is an asset to the company.

Exploring options for a new boiler, heat pump, and water tank

Wayne was very thorough and honest. He explained what would, and wouldn't work for our situation. He also arranged for a more detailed analysis when we had highly specific and technical questions. He put the customer's needs and wishes first, and sought only to provide us with products that financially made sense for us.

Furnace

Had a furnace installed. They put to much spray foam at the intake and out take port. Eventually this pressure caused a water pipe to weaken and break. Causing water to flood my basement. Minor damage... When their plumber arrived to inspect the situation. They denied any responsibility for the damage. He then abruptly left without providing me a quote to fix the current plumbing emergency. leaving my family and I without water. I had to call a different plumber to repair the damage they caused.

Dog ball meets furnace!

Floor vent cover was off. Plastic dog ball went down the vent. Afraid it would get to the furnace and then what? Remembered a friend,Celina works at Legacy!
Legacy booked an appointment & Karl calmed our concerns. Also did an inspection & minor tune up as we had recently purchased the house. Karl explained my new home furnace to me & what all the buttons were for! I feel confident & safe knowing our furnace was in good hands! Highly recommend Legacy Heating and Cooling for peace of mind and professional!

New furnace & ducting in a finished basement

Legacy was one of the only companies willing to take on the challenge of putting a new furnace and ducting system in an already finished basement suite, and they rose to the challenge. Their team came out a few times to make sure they were completely clear on what I wanted and to take the measurements needed to make a proper plan. The installation crew was on time, courteous and knowledgeable. They minimized the mess where they could and did a fantastic job cleaning up after they were done. A++, highly recommend.

Install new furnace

Our old furnace was no longer functioning. Legacy did a quick and very thorough assessment. They quoted a fair price and did the work just a few days later. I was pleased with all aspects of Legacys service.

Best in the Biz

I was having issues with my furnace. I called Legacy and they sent a lady named Penny to me. She gave me very good instructions on how to proceed and for which furnace would be best suited to my home. I had Dalton (I think that's his name....Darren....) anyway, a guy showed up to replace my furnace, he was quite pleasant and courteous. It was done within a day!! Highly recommend!!
