Garage Tap broken/leaking after late shutoff in December. Michel diagnosed and quoted repair cost. Returned today with good news. Repair could be done from garage. No inside work required.
Clearly, Michel reviewed job prior to return and performed what was needed.
Next year Bathroom reno. Appreciate Michel's design and insights.

It was time to replace the deck. We have had Handyco Ottawa replace our tub in the main bathroom with great success. We called Handyco for a quote to replace the deck. We agreed to the price and the work began the following Monday. By Friday we had a new deck. The people performing the work were very methodical. There was no need to make the deck larger; the old deck had a pergola which had become a eye sore. The new deck doesn't have that feature. We maintain two cross beams to be able to hang flower pots and the wind chimes. They installed two hand rails for the stairs and added a small cap to the main posts, which look great. The lines of the skirt match the lines of the deck. Great work. Clean-up was very good.

Great final product from the basement renovation. Loved the people. Awesome company. Very happy with my experience.

Michel and his team did an excellent job installing a bathroom in our basement from working with up to incorporate some upgrades from a standard bath, to digging the concrete trench for the plumbing in our crawlspace, to rushing to complete an vanity installation in our main floor powder room that allowed us to host a unexpected family event on short notice. The job was completed on time and on budget and it was a pleasant experience with Mario and the team on site.

I have doubts about the professionalism of this company. Last spring, I got a verbal estimate to fix a fence gate and perform a few maintenance items in the backyard.

I was never provided with a written contract prior to scheduling the work and had to follow up quite a few times after this first estimate to know when the work could be scheduled. The company went ahead and did work in my backyard without a written contract in place and ended up charging me twice the price of the original estimate.

When I have asked to be provided with a breakdown of costs, they refused and told me they needed 2 handymen to complete the work hence why the cost why so high. I live accross the street and could only see a worker there…

I am very happy with Handyco’s services. Michel arrived on time and did a great job making my deck safe for me to enjoy this summer. He is very personable and knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to have him complete other jobs at my home. I highly recommend him.

Michel and Nick helped us get a railing installed between our living room and dining area. The service was prompt, and they did a great job on the project.

This is the second time we have hired HandyCo to do work for us and have been very impressed by Michel's designs, and at how he helped us to understand the project. He went above and beyond whenever we had a question about the project and inspected the work himself when it was completed. As well, they did an amazing job of containment making clean up very minimal once the project was complete.
