Dane and the team were fabulous, but one thing that really stood out was the The Hawk Build app, which made communications and timelines seamless. Being able to login and see all our updates, selections, along with progress reports and updates any time we wanted made this process transparent allowing us to really trust Dane and the team with our home. We purchased our property in the hopes of turning this space into our dream home and the HawkPD team absolutely delivered beyond our expectations!

The team at Hawk did a fine job. The team members who worked the project were all great people which means a lot when they are in your home for a long period of time. We had a few hick ups like anyone would but every step of the way our PM Ozy was able to quickly implement corrective measures and the Hawk team almost finished the project which we are happy with on time and close to budget.

Having said all this, we are revising our first review downwards since after spending close to $100K for a complete gut of our main floor we still dont have confidence when our daughters and their friends go to the washroom that the door will properly lock. We have discussed this issue many times with the owner of Hawk Property including multiple times recently after he ignored us for a little while and we gave up trying to get him to do the right thing and fix the door properly once and for all. One would certainly expect a fully functional bathroom door after a renovation of this magnitude.

The owner of Hawk Property has sent people previously, it worked when they left, it works most of the time but there are many occasions it does not engage and with girls constantly using our washroom we find this unacceptable. We have sent videos proving the lock does not work on a consistent basis. Again, this is unacceptable, it should work all the time! We find it incredible a reputable business would not simply say dont worry folks we are a terrific General Contractor who takes pride in our work, you did your part paying us on time all the way through and you even assisted our crew on a couple of occasions, weve got your back, we will get this done properly for you so you can have full confidence when your Daughters and their friends or anyone for that matter use the washroom they can expect a level of privacy after locking the door.

The way the owner of Hawk Property treated this matter is extremely disappointing and left a sour taste in our mouth, be careful out there when selecting your contractors.

The Hawk team was amazing from start to finish. Trusting a team to come in and completely gut our 2-story home originally felt overwhelming but Dane and his team supported us by clearly communicating and working with us every step along the way. Not only did they bring our vision to life but they inspired us to imagine our space in ways we hadn't considered. Hawk Property Developments recently completed a full kitchen and bedroom renovation for us. The finished product is beautiful! Before starting, we got quotes from a number of contractors, but confidently went with Dane based on his ideas, approach, clear communication, fair price, and professionalism.

Dane provided a detailed outline of the work to be done and cost breakdown. Dane’s thorough planning allowed our project to stay on budget. When there were some things that needed to change (which is to be expected in any home renovation project), Dane clearly communicated different options and costs associated, respecting our budget limitations.

Dane & his team were involved and helpful every step of the way, including providing us with great ideas/options, joining us to meet with an IKEA kitchen designer, referring us to various companies to choose materials (e.g. countertops, sink & faucet, etc.), listening to our ‘wants’ and guiding us down the right path, etc.

Throughout the project, the Hawk team kept us updated about upcoming work and timelines and were very responsive to our questions via text, phone, and/or email. The company uses a digital platform that unfortunately did not work for us, but I can see how it would be helpful for communicating about a project to ensure all involved are on the same page.

When the work was nearly done, we did a final walk through and made a list of finishing touches/fixes that Dane ensured were done for us. Whenever an issue or obstacle did arise throughout the project, Dane handled it very professionally and made sure that we were happy with the outcome. It is very clear that Dane wants to ensure his customers are pleased and we are definitely happy customers! We would absolutely recommend Dane & his team to others and would be eager to work with Hawk again on a future renovation project!! A big thank you to Dane & the Hawk team!

The Team at Hawk Property Developments was incredible to work with from start to finish. Their planning, communication, and work made for a great experience from start to finish. We hired Hawk Property Developments after going through a few different quotes. We felt that they would stay within our budget and be able to deliver and they did. During the planning process Dane was patient and helped choose materials and finishes to stay on budget and keep quality high. The project was finished within time and in budget. We recently had our main floor and second floor completely renovated by Dane and the Hawk Property Team. We absolutely love our new space! it’s like moving into a brand new house. We met with a few contractors but we connected with Dane after our first meet. Best decision we made. Dane was patient, he listened to our needs and always gave his insight. We talked through any obstacles along the way and were happy with all our decisions. His crew was always respectful of our space, clean and knew their stuff! Hawk Property Developments finished the basement in our home complete with mini kitchen, storage room, bedroom and 3 piece bathroom. From the planning to the finished product, the work was professionally done with utmost care and consideration.

This summer, we had a full kitchen renovation done by Hawk. Dane and the team made us feel completely in the loop through the entire process and were even great helping with the tough design decisions. Their crew did beautiful work and they were so clean and tidy we barely knew a renovation was going on in the house. My family loves our new kitchen and we're looking forward to hosting during the upcoming holidays and years to come! We will most definitely be using Hawk Property Developments for our future projects.

My wife and I recently bought an old semi downtown and wanted to spruce things up before moving in.... we closed on the property and quickly realized that our ideas were beyond our capabilities. I did the usual search and vetted some trades that just felt a bit skeptical, Dane (Hawk properties) came to us through a friend/industry connection and we gave him a call.

Within the first 30 minutes of meeting with him at our house I knew this was likely to be the team we were looking for. Within weeks we were off and running, kitchen, living room, master etc etc.

The process went well from start to finish, always readily available when we had questions or concerns and we managed to get the reno done within our expectations and budget. I have since recommended Dane to a few friends as well. A refreshing experience compared some previous contractors I’ve had to work with.
