Our dishwasher motor was going so we scheduled service repair through whirlpool and they assigned us Michaels.
When the tech came we played the sound of the bearing going, he then spent an hour looking into the dishwasher and decided we needed a new motor (even though we tried to tell him that) and quoted us for only the cost of the motor.
When he came back with the motor, he told us we needed clamps as well cause the factory one can't be reused.
In his inexperience, he ripped both tubes that lead to the motor so now our dishwasher leaks. He wasn't going to admit to it and tried to blame the hoses being old (the DW is less than 3) and then told my husband he never promised to fix the DW, only replace the motor.
He only replaced one and then blamed us for the other one leaking because we tried to show him that the clamp he brought works and we asked him to come to the other side of the DW where you could see that the hose was ripped. He then QUIT the job calling us rude and arrogant without fixing our dishwasher and leaving it in a worse state than when we called them....if Whirlpool assigns you this company for a dishwasher RUN!!!
Also they will never call you or answer their phones. They are text message only. If you try to request a different technician cause the one you got only graduated in November and threatens to close the job without owning up to his mistakes, they have no other technicians.
