City Wide Interlocking

I broke every one of my rules about checking HomeStars and getting competitive quotes when this group of Scottish guys knocked on my door offering to clean and seal our interlocking driveway. Despite their erratic behaviour and odd suggestion to have the driveway pressure washed and not replace the polymeric sand (which I insisted that they replace), it was supposed to be a simple job. But unfortunately, they did not complete the work as promised in the contract. The power washer removed the existing good polymeric sand while damaging the wood border around the driveway and stairs, the sand they claimed was polymeric was simple beach sand, and the sealer they applied looked to be little more than water. Not surprisingly, all the contact details for the company have proven to be false and I'm sure they will be working the GTA in the spring under a different company name.

It's too late for me but be aware of this distinctive group of individuals and make sure your next contractor checks out on HomeStars!
