I've known Liugi (Lou) for several years. First hired him to make a water damage repair to our basement wall. He did a great job. He's pretty critical of his work, as something that is totally missing these days, and that is 'pride' Luigi has pride in his work. We've also had him paint do stucco repairs to our interior walls, and ceilings and painted most of our house (painting is always a work in progress), and again he did a great job. Liugi is primary a painter and the related skills that go along with that.

I couple of years ago, we decided that some renovations were needed, and we hired Lou again, and this time he brought Denis, who is his general builder. We had several projects on the go, from repairs to improvements. Both guys work well together and did a great job. Everything was clear, written, checked and delivered. The most important thing that I found, was the follow up visits to check up on the work that was done. Again, pride in what they do.

After meeting and discussing the project with Denis I felt that I was in very capable hands. It is not often that one meets a contractor with the experience and skills to match, who truly cares and is passionate about his craft. The quote was very fair and transparent and soon after the job began, it was evident that attention to detail, quality of work, an ethical and professional attitude to all aspects of the job was the “norm” for A to B. Denis was able to suggest many useful solutions and kept me updated with the progress daily. He was a pleasure to deal with. The completed job surpassed all my expectations. I have no reservation in recommending A to B General Renovations for any renovation project.

These guys are amazing and did the laminate wood flooring very professionally. They answered by concerns about the job and did it on time as they said. Highly recommended

Three years ago, we decided to create an apartment on the main floor and basement of our house which we had used before for office/retail space. We hired A to Be General Renovation for the job and were very satisfied with their work. As well, we found them very pleasant to work with and hired them subsequently for other work we needed to have done.

The worst contractors ever. I had to fire them when my bathroom was a huge whole with a tub after 8 days. When I got my quote it was a 4 day job. Then when I hired them it became an 8 days job. And after 8 days it was not even close to being completed. There was always an excuse. Very unprofessional. They rarely worked more than 3-4 hours in a day. And much of that time was spent going back to the hardware store for things they "forgot". They left a huge scratch on my hardwood floors by dragging the new tub across my living room floor and they said it did not matter. After 8 days I still had a hole where the finished bathroom should be. When I fired them I noticed there was a brown smudge on the back of my bathroom door. It was feces. And it was not tracked through my house...so it was clearly intentional. It took then 3 DAYS to get the tub leveled and installed. I would never, ever use this company again. When their plumber back out because of Void19 I told them my husband could do it. They said it was okay, they could do it, and after 3 days (on a 2 hour job for plumbing) they "nick" a pipe. They gauged a hole that was clearly not a nick soaking my basement area below. The drain for the tub was put on upside down. And they cracked my new tub. The contractor I hired to finish the job was disgusted by the very unprofessional job they did. But I will say, the person they hired to do the brick work did a great job...the only positive dealing with this company

I had a fully gutted apartment after a fire. A to B Renos handled everything. Insulation, drywall straight through to paint. Full bathroom and kitchen rebuilds, doors, windows, etc. It was a concrete shell when Denis arrived, and it was a beautiful 2 bedroom when it was finished. Thank you for all your hard work, and on budget too.

Denis and Lou have completed at least 5 renovations for me in 3 properties over the last 5 years.

Kitchen, bath, laundry, interior or exterior they have always done good work. They have worked on my primary house as well a rental properties. Denis has worked within my budget when updates were required instead of a complete demo (yes i have also had a complete demo done).

They take their time, do a good quality job at a great price. Denis and Lou are polite and respectful, no complaints from tenants.
