Gabriel was a huge help in guiding us through the project and ensuring we applied for all grants etc. During installation, the site was left neat and tidy and the electrical was done by an efficient contractor. We were happy with the project!

I contacted Solar X about doing some panels at our cottage, but they convinced us to look at doing our house in the city instead due to usage and rebates available. It took some time to get the permits, as Alectra didn't have room at the substation, and SolarX tried a few different options like zero export to get things through. In the end they finally must have upgraded the substation and we were able to do net metering. Jason was a great resource at SolarX continuing to update the plan and equipment as time went on and new offerings were available.

Solar X installed my system about 18 months ago. It has been up and running with no problems since then. My heating system is a central heat pump, and I have an electric car, but my electric bill is only about $35 per month (grid connection and account fees). I recommend anyone looking at solar consider Solar X as their provider.

I was set for installation in June, excuse after excuse Im still waiting, they have all their money. I have a bunch of stuff sitting in my driveway almost two weeks now and cant get in touch with anyone

I made the mistake of signing up with Solar-X based on their google reviews. I signed a contract in Jan of this year to get them installed in 6 months. I've already paid more then 80% of the cost and the panels/inverters/electrical has not even arrived. I have less then 4o days to complete the project to use the greener homes loan and they have ghosted me for the last 8 weeks. I hope any potential customers read my reviews to save the the headaches and disappointment.

Happy with the work Solar X did on our home. The crew was professional and cleaned up well after themselves. There was a slight delay with the permits, but they handled it professionally. We've already noticed a drop in our electricity bills!

We engaged Solar X Inc. prior to the pandemic. After delays due to situations beyond their control, the panels and all related hardware was installed. within weeks we began to have issues. One of the Huawei units they installed turned out to be defective. After much back and forth with their CSR Chelsey, and going above her head, it was replaced. But since then the panels and all other hardware has not worked as it should. after years of dealing with them, they recommended us getting an inspector they use at OUR COST to identify the problem. We cancelled them because we are seniors and every penny counts. Besides it seemed that it was going to be a cash grab. Now we hired our people who determined nothing worked properly from the installation and that the panels and wiring were not installed properly. SolarX went so far as to say that rodent and squirrel damage caused things to fail, well our neighbour down the street who used another company 5 years ago has never had such issues because their anti-vermin fencing and wraps have never failed. Besides, how would they know if their inspector never came or tested the equipment. to cut things short, until such time they deal with us long term clients, even if we are an isolated case, we can not with clear conscious recommend Solar X Inc. to anyone. Do your research, there are many other solar companies out there.
