Steve was super-responsive from my first contact through to the completion of the job. We had four exterior light fixtures changed out and a smart thermostat installed insider our home. Steve also made some good recommendations on other items when I asked - and even quickly repaired an external outlet that needed work. He and his team were friendly, professional and did high-quality work within the time they quoted.

Met Steve months ago on a basement reno and gave him my number for "future work" when things weren't crazy busy. We have helped each other out over the last couple months and he was kind enough to come out on a friday and help me with my electrical project......Site unseen we spent 7 hours sorting things out with the panel, troubleshooting, getting the lights on, ceiling fan hung and plugs live. Steve took the time to explain what i did wrong me being a rookie. Well worth the trip for both of us as i got rid of my excess electrical hoarding........ Have more to do so another visit is in the near future another friday when he has 4 spare hours.

He not only fixed my problem but also went over and beyond by explaining other electrical systems in my house and how i should care for them. My garage lighting was not working for some reason, and my doorbell wiring had been cut which prevented me from installing my new doorbell camera.

Being an executive assistant I was somehow responsible for getting my boss’s under cabinet lighting fixed. After coming across JEM Electrical and speaking with Stephen he agreed to meet the next day at my boss’s house. He then advised that it would be beneficial to replace the outdated system to which I agreed. He sent me suggestions and was able to replace it all and discard of the old system very quickly. After hiring a different company for my own laundry room remodel I was very grateful for the advise and suggestions. The previous company I had used expected me to tell them which products and placements for everything, just short of doing the job myself. I will definitely be using JEM for my basement remodel with the fast and friendly service and the few dad jokes he throws in :)
