He put tried to cut off my gas when I didn't go with his services
Antonio contacted Enbridge to shut off my gas on Dec 15, 2024 after I asked for a refund when he left my tankless water heater leaking after maintenance.
Antonio came to my house to do maintenance on a tankless water heater on Nov 26. He recommended increasing the width of the gas pipes. I set up an appointment for the next week. He didn't show up for an appointment and sent a text to reschedule for the next week. I noticed the tankless water heater was dripping and after he performed the maintenance and called him back to advise and asked him to fix it and decided not to go with him to change the gas pipes.
What happened next I wouldnt believe it except it happened to me. When we spoke on Dec 9 Antonio got mad because I said I no longer wanted to get the additional work done, I only wanted him to fix the leaking tankless water heater. He then threatened to shut off my gas!
On December 15, I sent him a message asking for my money back as I now needed to get another service person in as it was still leaking and to be honest after him threatening to "red tag" my gas (have it shut off by Enbridge) and getting mad about me not wanting further work I didn't want him back in my home. Antonio, didn't immediately respond instead he put in a notice to Enbridge to shut off my gas in 42 days. The "infraction" he noted is that I don't have a metal tag on my tankless ater heater.
1. I had a reputable company (in business for 30 years) assess my tankless water heater before Antonio came out. They didn't red tag my tankless hot water heater.
2. Antonio came to my house only once on Nov 26, but put in the request only on December 15 when I asked for my money back and advised that I didn't want him to come back to my home
3. Antonio said nothing about an issue with the tankless water heater when he did maintenance on Nov 26. If he advised he was going to shut off the gas, I certainly would not have continued to engage with him.

4. I now have to figure out how to not get my gas shut off.
Antonio (almost immediately) when he came into my home told me how most people know very little and he knows everything about HVAC. I definitely regret the day I called him into my home. Not only is there now an issue, he now vengefully is trying to cause me expense and shut off my gas.
