Julian installed a new cedar fence in my back yard this year. He was easy to work with and provided very high quality work. The result is outstanding and I am very pleased.

Our original fence, built before we bought the place, was in a dilapidated state. Then, in the Spring of 2021, it collapsed and needed to be replaced. Enter Julian.

From the very first interactions on HomeStars Julian was thorough, efficient, and informative. Once we told our neighbours of our project, they were interested in having their fences rebuilt as well. Even though the job tripled, Julian managed the project and assured us of a timeline. Certainly, snags happen and weather doesn't always cooperate, but Julian was determined and driven to deliver a quality project.

In the end, our three fences are the most beautiful in the neighbourhood. Julian hand selected the cedar and thoughtfully arranged them across our three lots. His carpentry skills are unmatched, and his methodical approach is impressive. Alongside the fence, he also designed and built a small shed that is spacious and waterproof. When everything was completed, Julian guided us on staining options and has continued to provide support and advice as requested.

Very few contractors deserve 10 stars, but Julian does. I hired him in June to build my front gate, and was really happy with the result, so I hired him again to build my back gate a few months later. He's truly passionate about building a quality product, and ensuring it lasts. I had some requests regarding aesthetics, and he took precise notes and built the gates to exactly match what I was looking for. He also built it incredibly fast, even my neighbours commented on how impressed they were that he installed it in one day. I highly recommend him.

Julian lived up to and exceeded the recommendations that we received. He was very personable. His crafts quality was excellent and his work rate was highly commendable.

His eye for design is excellent. Even when we asked him to match the existing style, he did so with impressive flair taking into account the different topology of the ground from the original.

Julian was working on my neighbour's fence. He spoke to me about my fence. He was extremely courteous and didn't pressure me at all. Seeing how professionally Julian tackled my neighbour's project, I didn't hesitate to have him do mine as well. I love my new fence and so does everyone else who sees it. Julian stained it beautifully. I can't wait to ask him to come back and make me some flower boxes and benches.

Julian was very accommodating and went out of his way to make this project work, given that we took on this relatively big project during a pandemic and a materials shortage :)

Julian built a new fence and bench in my tiny backyard. It was a complicated job because of concrete footings around my backyard and a very tight space but Julian was great at troubleshooting and found the best solutions. His work is high quality and his attention to detail is unmatched. I get so many compliments on my “new backyard” and it’s all because of his work. 10/10 would highly recommend.

Julian is amazing. I had to install two side gates to keep our puppy inside. Not only he matched gates to our fence so it aligned with house style, but he also fixed our fence as several planks were broken. Gates look actually much better then the whole fence so now I am thinking I will need to change my fence eventually) Julian is a very hard worker, job is done fast and efficient. Great quality for materials, clean and fast. Very highly recommend
