Good guys Contracting

This guy knocked on my door,they told me that my neighbor had contracted his company Good Guys Contracting to do his driveway and sent him over to me as we share a driveway and planned on doing the repairs and reasphalting together. They quoted me$2,500 but I told them I wasn't interested considering that I had gotten a previous quote for $1,500,he lowered the price to $2,250,I told him that I would think about it,a week later he came back still I said I am not interested,he lowered the price again to $2,000,I reluctantly agreed.
He (Michael) and his team came on Monday March 29th to do the job,as soon as he arrived he demanded full payment in cash even before they started the job,I went to the bank withdrew the money and brought it to him,I tried to get him to come inside my home so he could count the cash and give me my receipt,he stated that he didn't have to that because"he trusted me"!
While they worked I watched off and on from my window, about a half hour into the job the work stopped and they were just hanging out on the other side of the road with Michael driving away and coming back several times. After an hour or so the work resumed,I watched them smooth the front portion of the driveway then stepped away to make some coffee,to my surprise when I got back to the window they were gone and the rest of the driveway wasn't touched,I tried to call several times only to keep getting voicemail,I left messages.
Awhile later Michael called not knowing who called him,he asked"who is this"? I identified myself and asked him if the job was done? He said yes,I was shocked,I asked how come they didn't touch the entrance to the driveway? His response was "they don't do that part of the driveway", I asked about the unfinished section of driveway and my receipt,he reassured me that he would return in about an hour and address it,to date he hasn't, even with repeated requests for my receipt. This company is impossible to reach by phone,I only get responses via text messages. Eventually he tried to sell me bogus promise that he would come and give us a completely redone driveway but "in the summer, because he's very busy now"! At one point he told me "to leave him alone". I demanded my receipt and he asked me to send him my email address and that he would forward it to me, despite sending him my email this hasn't happened. I wrote a review of this company about my experiences and disappointment in their conduct, Michael was not happy about it and called me immediately ( first time he actually tried to reach out to via phone) I asked him for a time and date when he would correct the problem but he keeps saying in the summer,and considering that we paid in full it is not fair for us to wait three to four months to be content with what we paid for. Eventually he agreed to send me in writing via email the confirmation to redo the driveway but in his email that was sent by a burner phone there is no date for which the job will be fixed. I would not recommend this company to anyone, unprofessional, unreasonable,not trust worthy.
