Assured Basements

We are very satisfied with the work of Assured Basements. On the day that we met Mike, we discussed about our budget. He is very enthusiastic and knows what he's doing. He walked us through the process and came up with preliminary plans and estimated price. He also gave us a discount which we really appreciate. They were also able to start the project a week earlier than the scheduled date. Before they started they put protection on the floors and and were also very careful when bringing their materials and equipment down. As we have noticed, and also a very good reason why we highly recommend them is that all of their staff are very friendly, polite, and courteous. They hire subcontractors (which is normal, like any other construction companies), and like their own staff, were also very respectful and professional. They were all accommodating whenever we check/ask what is being done. We were never uncomfortable the whole time that our basement is being done.

If there is one thing that needs to be improved is their coordination. There were instances that our phone calls were unreturned whenever we have inquiries about materials selection/ work schedule. Sometimes, they will just show up even if it is not in schedule and we are not at home. Their payment plan works by stages, but there were times that we were billed even if the job is not done yet. These matters were resolved, but like any other client, this can be very stressful especially when your fund comes from a loan.

Overall, as shown in the pictures, Assured Basements have done a near-perfect job on our project. We are very satisfied with the result. We highly recommend them and will be calling them again for future projects.
