I highly recommend Russell and his team for all services they provide. My family and I were living in black mold infested townhome rental. Russell came in and did an extremely thorough and professional inspection. He walked me through and explained everything he was finding. His attention to detail and knowledge from decades of experience is top shelf. Hes the Columbo of home inspection. His honesty and concern for the wellbeing of my family was very evident. His documentation process and final report is extremely detailed. It
makes for great evidence on law matters. I learned a lot from this man. It's nice to see a an organizational so professional that really do care.

I purchased a century + home, and was concerned about the encasement used on my basement pipespossibly asbestos, and I knew just how important it is to have it correctly, and SAFELY remedied.
While having this removed, tested and treated.
I also felt more comfortable having mold (it wasnt present anywhere nor had any odour.)inspected.
***I want a HEALTHY home, not a smart house .***
I phoned many companies yet could not find anyone who would come to the Niagara region.
Six months of inquiries led me to a Lab who was kind enough to give me Russels phone number!!!
Russ came over 3 DAYS later, spoke about the process (in perfect detail), and squeezed me in between jobs to investigate, and take samples.
He PRO-ACTIVELY checked my air quality and came back the following weekend to remove the pipes encasement, clean up and clean the air!!!
All discussions were extremely helpful, personal and a pleasure to have such a genuine gentleman guide and reassure me that he would remedy any of my educated concerns.
Russ and his Team went above and beyond to ensure my children, grandchildren and all who visited were breathing in the freshest, clean, SAFE air.
I dont write many reviews, yet knowing our younger generation focuses on the technology side of their abode, I felt it imperative to stress how much more important the quality of their indoor air is !
For the safety of everyone, I would highly recommend getting your home tested for the most noxious/unhealthy particles.
As the saying goes, when in doubt, check it out! .
Your lungs, illnesses, allergies, and future health are the base of wellness! *** this is applicable to wherever you reside! Mold can be in ANY home***

We thought we had asbestos tiles under an old floor in our bathroom. We contacted AEG Environmental Group to have the tiles tested. Russell professionally removed the tiles and test was done the same day. Results the next day. Russell advised us regarding the detection of asbestos, and the dangers etc. He attended to our home and completed an asbestos abatement. Very pleased with the service provided, would not use any other company if need be in the future. Thanks Russ!!!

I hired this company inspector for my house inspection, according to this company inspector what work need in house ,we done. Spend $40000 almost on home , after all finish jobs, he complaint to city there is mold, then we hired this company recommended professinal company for spray on mold full house then he checked all good, after all when I call final inspection he came, told me all is good, fillout some documents, few days after again complaint to city ,
I feel very disappointed then I realize this company not doing there job, if you hired its make you more in trouble instead of help. AVOID THIS COMPANY TO HIRE

AEG came on short notice to perform mold testing after a water heater flood remediation uncovered previous issues. Russell provided quick test results as well as a very detailed estimate of the recommended work. The team got to work mitigating the mold spread immediately. The area was isolated and contaminated materials were double bagged and removed. Throughout the process Russell provided constant detailed communication of what steps were being taken and what was planned next. We went through the whole house highlighting current and potential issues with moisture risk including recommended specific measures to address the root causes of the current mold growth. We had a stubborn area of concern and Russell was dedicated to isolating and solving the unusual root cause of a prior owner's renovation improperly completed. Final tests showed successful removal of the mold.

AEG completed a test on our home after a pre-renovation home inspection revealed that we had mold issues in our attic (this was missed by our pre-sale home inspector when we bought the house in 2018). The test revealed that we had extremely elevated levels of several different types of mold spores because of severe mold growth in our attic and basement. Knowing that my wife has asthma, Russell and his team quickly arranged to have a complete remediation done on our home. I can't stress enough how helpful, professional, thorough, and transparent AEG was. We always knew what they would be doing and what to expect as they evaluated other potential problem areas. They completed the remediation quite efficiently, and followed up with another test after the remediation was completed, which showed normal fungal ecology in our home.

We couldn't be happier with AEG's performance and professionalism - just from talking with Russell and his team, it's quite obvious how knowledgeable they are and how passionate they are about what they do. Being told you have toxic mold in your home is a horrifying experience, but AEG made the process of removal quite painless - I HIGHLY recommend this company for any remediation projects. 11 out of a possible 10!
