Using Home Stars as we have done on other successful projects we found Unionville Decking & Fencing. Unionville removed an older 20+ years deck with nearly a two-thirds expansion proposed. What stood out to us over a couple of other quotes was how easy it was to bounce ideas off Bryce & how detailed the actual quote was. Because we decided to get a building permit Bryce was able to look after this aspect for us & also outlined what additional costs could be encumbered if the engineer & inspector called for certain changes. This gave us a good scope of the entire project & in the end there were a few changes & the additional cost was well within Bryce's forecast. The overall quality of the work was outstanding as was the attention to detail. They completed most of the project in a couple of weeks & were on site from day to day. The work area was always kept safe & clean & after complete our property looked pretty much the same except of course for the fantastic deck. We would highly recommend Bryce & his team.

Bryce came recommended from a friend that did some fantastic work so I had to see what Bryce could do for me. As a home owner (and project manager by trade), Bryce delivered my job, ticking off everything I could have asked for.

Upon initial contact, Bryce was excellent with communication. He introduced himself and explained what he can do and the different options we could go with my deck. After listening to my requirements and explaining some of my 'wants', we were able to plan out what we were envisioning. Bryce explained the pros and cons of all options, and timelined the job so I could plan out my personal/professional life.

Bryce coordinated with me the days in which he was going to do the work and provided me with a summary of what the plan was for the day. At the end of each day, he did a recap what they were able to accomplish and what next steps would be.

Bryce provided fair and reasonable quotes for his services, he was clean and tidy with the job, and respected my neighbours and property.

Bryce was amazing to work with. Everything was done very efficiently and we love the new deck. Work area was always left tidy and everyone involved was so polite and incredibly hard working. Well miss having Bryce and Jamie here for coffee but so happy we have the deck to enjoy now!

The young owner runs a very professional organization. He uses a slick website to communicate quotes and facilitate approvals. His assessment of the work was thorough, his design ideas were clever, the estimate was well laid out, and there were no surprises when the project was completed.

He and his partner arrived punctually each morning and put in a full effort every day to complete the project in just a week. They both are capable, creative, and hard-working professionals. It was a pleasure to have them on the project.

We retained Bryce to remove our worn, 35 year old cedar deck and replace it with a new composite deck. He provided a quote and rendering within days of our requesting it and he came to the site several times to confirm design details. He was very accommodating with our minor design changes and was cost-conscious throughout. He completed the project on time and on budget and left the site in excellent condition. Would recommend Bryce to anyone with decking/fencing needs.
