FG Landscaping

The process of working with FG Landscaping was challenging from the start. The initial estimate we were provided in early March 2021 jumped by $1000 a week later when we met to sign the contract. We were told that they would complete the job in early April, but despite being told each week to expect the job to start on x day, they didn't arrive until early May. When they did arrive, they told us it would would take one day to complete. What we didn't realize is that what they truly meant was that they were going to be there for one day whether they finished the job or not. During their work, a neighbour walked over and asked them to do an island section in front of their home and they ended up removing the border stone that was already laid and doing the whole island and rushed the rest of the project that day. What we ended up with was an unfinished front pathway, dirt and gravel everywhere, and a design that they changed from what we agreed upon and paid for. We requested black border stones and river rock between our neighbour's house and ours, which they just laid plain grey pavers instead, built too large of a front step landing that we didn't want as we agreed before the project started that we wanted space to park a second car on our driveway - which now we can't. The pathway to the front landing was supposed to be curved with a dark border, but it's only half complete with a straight path that only extends halfway to the landing. The work they did do, they didn't use enough of the polymeric sand, so there are large empty gaps between the pavers in sections that we'll need to fix so weeds don't come through. They also said they would fix the grass and lay some sod. After reaching out to them, they acknowledged that the job was incomplete, assured us they never leave a job unfinished, and when they're back in the area, they'll finish the job. Fast forward another month when they are working in the area, we were assured that they had the materials and the workers who would come and promised finish the job that week. Unfortunately this never happened and now two months on, we're still stuck with an unfinished, sloppy front driveway/pathway. We will now have to find another contractor to fix/finish the job.

I am quite happy with the work they did at our place . They have professional staff and heavy equipment and they finished the job within the the time agreed.
I liked their after service aswell, since this job was done in November 2020 rite before the snow, they are coming back for a power wash and to seal the interlocking to give it a brand new look as their extended service.

I would highly recommend them with no doubt.
